Questions & Answers

6 Customer Questions

Why is this listed as a ferret treat when it contains ingredients such as broccoli sprouts, carrots and plums? Plant-based foods can cause urinary tract stones in ferrets.
Answer by ChewySep 02, 2020
Animals in the wild would consume the entire herbivorous prey – including the viscera with organs and GI tract filled with the fruits and vegetables that have been consumed by them. Thus it would be appropriate to provide small amounts of these elements to the diets of pets – this is the case with various Wysong diets and treats. The vitamin, mineral, and nutraceutical benefits of fruits and vegetables are well known and scientifically substantiated.

What is the shape and size of the treat
Answer by ChewyJun 25, 2019
These treats are approximately the size of a silver dollar and are shaped like slices of a cylinder.

What is the KCAL/calories per disc?
Answer by ChewyMay 19, 2019
These treats contain approximately 32 calories, per treat.

How much calcium is in this?
Answer by ChewyMay 13, 2019
These treats have a calcium content of approximately 1.7% on a dry-matter basis.

Rolls Royce of cat snacks !

My two cats go bonkers for these snacks ! They start getting excited when I just pick up the bag. When they are reluctant to eat their organic, canned food I crumble one of the wafers on top of their bowls. Then they clean their bowls - works like a charm !

Rats didn't like it

Good product and price for what you get.. Got it for my rats to try, they sniffed it and ran off, begging for something else lol

Great ingredients!

Superb treats and can also be used to supplement a meal. Sized perfectly too-Not too large, not too small. My dog can’t get enough of them. Unfortunately, my dog is on a diet so I only give him one treat at bedtime.

Ferret won’t eat them

I wanted my ferret to try these treats since he eats Wysong food, but he won’t even try one. One of my two cats seems to like them, so they will get eaten.

Recommended by Cattail

I wanted a grain free healthy treat for my cats. Cattail is on chemo and gets a treat with his meds. When I opened the first bag I wasn’t impressed. I thought he would hate it. Was I ever wrong! He loves this treat. I break it into pieces and only give a couple at a time. I think the size was designed for a large dog. We have them on autoship now

Not for ferrets!

I can't believe this is listed as a ferret treat when it contains ingredients such as broccoli sprouts, carrots and plums? Plant-based foods can cause urinary tract stones in ferrets. Ferrets are carnivores, not omnivores.

Cats like the treats

They are a little large so I have to break them up in pieces for my cats to eat them. But they seem to like them
