Look for a better design and quality
I've had this cat tree since I got my 2 kittens in June. It's sturdy where they could run and jump all over it for a few months, but the first perch has slowly been getting more wobbly. At this point I'm waiting for it to break off when a cat jumps on to it. The rest of the tree is very stable. However I'm only giving 1 star because the way it is set up is too stacked on each other and it makes it difficult for my cats to play on it. If your cat likes to be up high, I would also recommend getting a taller cat tree than this. And if your cat is larger, I recommend looking for large perches on cat trees, because these will be way too small. My cats are almost 7 months at about 8 lbs and they BARELY fit curling up into a ball on the top perch with the supporting side cat ears. I ordered a Frisco XXL cat tree on Chewy today and I'm hoping it will last a while and be more practical compared to this. On a side note, I'm realizing that it's hard to find what I'm looking for in a cat tree... durable, large perches, and has lots of things to entice the cat like toys, rope and scratching surfaces. I'm at the point of wanting to build my own, but we'll see how the XXL one does.

Perfect for my 5 kitties
This wonderful gift for my fur babies came with such simple - excellent to follow directions. I had fun putting all the pieces together, and couldn’t wait to give it to my babies. They all found “their” place on the tree. They are loving it each day that passes as I enjoy watching them. It easily can be vacuumed and cleaned if need be in the future.
Kitten size
This cat tower was cheap, so I didn't expect awesome quality. And in that regard I got what I expected. It's made of particle board with this cheap fake fur cloth instead of carpet. A cat that likes to actually use it to scratch would definitely shred this very quickly. However, the biggest surprise was how small the compartments and platforms are. My cats are a bit larger, about 12 pounds, so they aren't huge by any means but they aren't small cats. There isn't room for them to even get on the platforms to hop up the cat tree. The compartments are smaller than my cats, they can barely stick their heads in the boxes. I put my cat on one of the top platforms and there was barely room for him to sit, much less lay down. If you want a cheap tower for a tiny cat or for kittens, this may last you until you can get a better one. If you have average to larger cats, like over 6 pounds, skip this one.
My cats love it
It sits high so my cats can watch the birds and squirrels running all over the yard. Its a soft plush carpeting material and their little hiding places. My cats run up and down it chasing wach other in a full run, one wrighs over 13lbs and the other around 8lbs, and it does not tip or try to. I love it, even better so does my cats.
