Convenient but not comfortable.

I wanted a pretty self-contained tower for the foot of my bed, and it's very tidy for that. I thought it was very clever the way that it is put together, as well

I wanted a pretty self-contained tower for the foot of my bed, and it's very tidy for that. I thought it was very clever the way that it is put together, as well. But the top part is just a thin piece of fabric over a hard wooden frame and seems very uncomfortable. My old cat that I got it for stepped on it once, but seemed to be put off by how thin and unstable it was. I haven't been able to get him to use it again at all. My other cat uses it now that I've put a towel on top, but she wouldn't sit on it at all before.

I bought this to give my cat somewhere to sit and sleep that was at about the same height as the arm If my new sofa. She wanted to sit and scratch on the arm of my new sofa. With this she is quite happy to be right next to the sofa instead. Has nice clean lines and looks stylish. I did add a folded soft fleece throw to the top to pad the feel of the wooden frame which is beneath the top hammock layer.

We wanted something window height for the kittens to see out easily. Our girl pictured here had a previous injury that prevents her from jumping too high. The side ledge acts as a good step up for her. Only negative that I have is the hammock on the top is very thin material that may get torn with claws. We haven’t had an issue yet, but time will tell.

I needed a short cat "tower" for my rescue who has wobbly cat syndrome. This fits the bill and he seems to love it. Easy access to 2 levels which helps build the muscles on his hind legs. My only concern is that he as tipped it over twice, so placement is very important.
