Mix this with your potting soil for a more eco friendly seed starting medium. Peat has to be mined, coconut coir like this is basically a mill waste product. It holds many times its volume in water, and so its also helpful to forgetful plant parents. Just mix it into the soil in your potted plant. I know its not a review for pets, but I'm not going to lie and say I use it for an animal when I don't.
