Tall and would work well for shorter tanks.

I don't use the clamp part but it seemed intact. These sit on top of the screen of a large tank for my 100 watt ches'. They work great! It's nice that I don't have to worry about the fixture getting too hot. I didn't know that I couldn't use a deep dome with a 100 watt che, glad nothing burnt down before I got these.

Wire cage lamp

The part where you screw the bulb into is loose and the bulb wouldn't screw all the way in. It says for 50 gals to 100 gals, I have a 50 gal and it couldn't even

The part where you screw the bulb into is loose and the bulb wouldn't screw all the way in. It says for 50 gals to 100 gals, I have a 50 gal and it couldn't even hold a temp. Worst choice I could have made. Very disappointed in the product

great fixture without clamp

Bought this for extra heat during chilly winter nights, for my Russian tortoise. Fixture doesn’t get too hot and allows heat to emit. Light weight and easy to use

Bought this for extra heat during chilly winter nights, for my Russian tortoise. Fixture doesn’t get too hot and allows heat to emit. Light weight and easy to use with on/off switch. Only reason I took stars off is because the clamp is useless. It does not support the weight of the fixture. I even used a smaller ceramic bulb. There is no hanging option, so you are left with placing it on top of the enclosure. I tried tightening the screws and clamping to different stands, nothing worked. The fixture doesn’t stay where you point it, or it isn’t secure and slips. If you are relying on the clamp feature, you may need to play around to ensure it is safe and secure. If you can place on top of enclosure, you’ll have no issues.
