Committed to Healthy Ears, Skin and Coat, and Smiles
To ensure overall health from snout to tail on all four-legged pals, Zymox has developed products that are specially formulated for all the areas that commonly need infection relief, like the ears, teeth and gums, and skin and coat. To keep furry ones happy, their products treat ear infections, skin allergies, hot spots, bad breath, gum disease and more.
Ear Care Solutions: Effective, non-toxic solutions with special enzymes and mild cleansers to keep ears clean and fresh, and combat microbes that can cause ear infections.
Oral Care Solutions: Brushless solutions with unique enzymes to dissolve plaque and prevent its buildup, boost natural "good bacteria," and protect against gum disease to keep kitty and doggy smiles healthy.
Skin and Coat Health: Topical sprays and shampoos for dogs, cats and horses that form a powerful protective barrier against minor skin inflammations from bacteria and fungi, while cleaning and conditioning the coat—with some formulas utilizing hydrocortisone.
100% Safe, Gentle and Easy
Because Zymox formulas are made with 100% naturally derived enzymes from dairy, they are safe for anytime use, both for immediate soothing relief and to prevent infections. The powerful enzymes work to eliminate problem single-celled organisms such as bacteria, fungi and yeast, while leaving healthy cells untouched. This means no irritations for your pal!
Enzyme-Based and Antibiotic-Free
Zymox products use a patented, gentle formulation that combines three potent, naturally occurring enzymes—lactoperoxidase, lysozyme and lactoferrin—that are sourced from milk products. These enzymes are proven to work together to eliminate the source of infection on your pet, without any toxins or antibiotics that can irritate or cause antibiotic resistance.
Zymox was founded in 1998 by Pamela Bosco, who sought to change the way that people treated and managed ear, oral and skin infections with a safer alternative to antibiotics. Enlisting the help of her brother—a scientist that developed the enzyme technology in Biotene—Bosco formulated a powerful enzyme-based solution to help treat infections in dogs, cats and horses with no toxins, chemicals or antibiotics. Committed to keeping all four-legged pals healthy, they offer USA-made and sourced products to treat, soothe and protect against bacterial and fungal infections gently and 100% naturally.
Works very well, quickly, easy to apply. Recommended for ringworm!

This is a great product! I am using it along with the matching Zymox spray to treat ringworm on my older kitty. It is working very well, and surprisingly quickly! There is no odor that bothers kitty, easy to apply, doesn't seem to cause issues from her grooming, and it's easy to apply with a swab. The spots are healing quickly, shrinking and scabbing over. I highly recommend this product! Note: I also vacuumed well, put on a new flea collar, washed all her bedding, and now put small towels on her bedding that I can change out daily and wash easier while the ringworm clears up. I am very happy with this item!

This stuff works miracles! About two months ago we were watching our cat’s brother. When they roughhouse, they nip at one another’s legs. We noticed after a couple of days our cat had 4 bald spots starting on his back legs. We gave it about a week, but the fur did not grow back and instead the skin got dry and flaky and red. One of the spots looked like a healing scab. I ended up taking our cat to the vet to have it looked at and was given an ointment that seemed to help the inflammation and red but really didn’t do as much as we hoped. The vet had us do this for two weeks then had us take a break to see if leaving it alone to heal again would do the trick.

I swapped our cats litter and did a full cleaning of his bedding and the cat condos just incase something else was irritating his skin or triggering an allergy. Still no improvement. I finally came across this ointment on chewy and saw that it had a lot of good reviews I figured might as well give it a shot before we rack up another vet bill. By day three we have seen a major improvement! I apply it twice a day, once in the morning and evening. I wrap the back legs in bandages for an hour so that it has a chance to work and to keep our cat from licking it off. It really seems to be helping. I’m hoping that in a week or so we can stop all together and let the fur finish filling in.… more
It appears to be working

I have been battling a lick granuloma on her right front paw for over 2 years. This seems to help do the trick, after cleaning the granuloma's (she licked another one just below where I was treating the top one, and had it covered, little brat). I am hoping I can finally get them healed up.

Always enjoy our products from Chewy. However, still getting cans that are bent in every order. I believe it is delivery and not Chewy's fault. Had four cans that we could not use on last order because bent on top and "oozing out". Were afraid to use so we threw them away.
Works Great ! !

I use this on my stray felines for cuts & scrapes. It is a great "boo-boo" topical medicine. I always have an extra tube on hand 'cause you just never know what they wil bring home next ! !
Don't buy for ringworm though

This product mentioned that you can use it to treat ringworm, but don't! It's NOT an antifungal and while I will admit it's of a quality that does lessen the appearance of ringworm symptoms, it's NOT going to get rid of it on its own. I was using the cream while waiting to receive my prescriptions from my vet to treat the ringworm and I will admit that I saw vast improvements in the appearance of the ringworm after the first two days of using it twice a day which means it probably would do wonders on basically any other skin irritation.
Miracle skin cream!

Works like a charm. Stops itching, irritation, redness. Our lab stopped obsessively licking her paws and belly with first application. Highly recommended

My cat Moonstar had a hot spot and hair loss in a spot by his tail
It was about half an inch deep and itched like mad. It cleared up in 3 days! It soothed the insane itch so he quit licking it and the fur grew back. If it gets licked by your cat its nontoxic. If I'd taken him to the vet it'd have been super expensive. HIGHLY recommend this.
Cleared the ringworm right up!

My cat had ringworm at the base of his tail, and twice a day for a week I applied the lotion to the infected area, and by the end of the week his fur was back to normal!
It really works!

My pup had gotten a scar and I was worried if it would be there permanently. This item promises re-growth of fur and it absolutely works! Give it the time required (2 weeks), and you’ll see changes after the first week! Even after the 2 weeks, I’ve been using it and it seems to grow back faster!
