Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Is it toxic for pets , if so how long do I wait to bring my pets back to the room

Answer by ChewyOct 10, 2018
Do not allow children or pets to contact treated areas until surfaces are dry. The amount of time it'll take to dry will differ depending on the surface it was used on and how much was sprayed.

Can I clean with water and soap the area (like leather sofa) after the spraying application is dried? How long should the surface sprayed need to be dried, and how can I clean the dead mites killed by the Spray? Thanks.

Answer by ChewySep 25, 2020
Thoroughly vacuum the entire room concentrating on areas where mites congregate, such as mattresses, box springs, headboards, walls, floors, carpeting, and baseboards. Then spray surfaces until damp. Spray surfaces from a distance of 8"-10" until slightly damp. Vacate room after treatment and ventilate before reoccupying. Do not allow children or pets to contact treated areas until surfaces are dry. Allow sprayed articles and surfaces to dry thoroughly before using them. Afterward, thoroughly wash the areas you sprayed.

Nothing

Instructions on the can are for regular spray nozzle, not carpet spray nozzle which is different. Also, globs of foam leak out while spraying.

I had 4 long-haired kittens who after repeated baths and combouts, washing of all bedding and thorough cleaning of the space continued to suffer flea infestation. After traditional remedies didn't work I had to reach for the chemicals: Advantage for kittens on the cats, who got quarantined. I then removed all bedding and toys, cleaned the floors and sprayed the 4 cat trees they used inside and out. I left it sit overnight and vacuumed the next morning. I was really surprised how many dead fleas I found. All life stages from nits to adults. DEAD!! After doing the 4 cat trees I have enough left for another treatment or possibly enough to do something the size of a couch.

This product works. Do not spray on pets, or pet bedding, nor near food and water. My pets either use topical, or collar flea protection, yet flea can still be brought indoors, or if a guest pet is visiting. I use this spray as directed and have no problem with fleas in my house. No unpleasant odor. When I use it I put my pets in a room so they are not effected by the product - I do this at night so it is safe when the fur kids wake up and want to run around the house. One application lasts up to 3 months. Give it a try - follow directions on product label - get rid of those pests!
