Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Can you use topical flea treatment (drops) with this

Answer by ChewySep 03, 2019
Advantus can be used with other products including heartworm preventives, corticosteroids, antibiotics, vaccines, de-worming medications and shampoos.

How often do you give a pill.

Answer by ChewyDec 26, 2022
One tasty soft chew starts killing adult fleas within the hour. Advantus is also in and out of your dog’s system in 24 hours. A single dose kills adult fleas on a dog — if there are fleas in your dog’s environment and your dog becomes re-infested, you can safely repeat treatment as often as once per day. It can be used with other products including heartworm preventives, corticosteroids, antibiotics, vaccines, de-worming medications and shampoos.

If I still see fleas after giving my dog the Soft Chew for 7days straight do I continue to give it to her?

So what I did was originally give my dog a bath. Then when she had a left amount of fleas on her, I gave her the chewable, then it took care of the rest only thing left to do is clean the blankets and then the Fleet are completely gone if your dog is allergic to fleas. You'll have to take them to the vet to get them treated for other issues, they may have after However , it does do its job killing fleas and repelling them after.

Wrong address

First it was not sent to the correct address. Second, I was under the impression this was a monthly pill.

I give this to my dogs as per instructions, 1 chew depending on bodyweight, kill some of the fleas but had to repeat it. Not as effective as capstan or generic, living in South Flordia the fleas are very hardy here and resitent, so maybe that was a factor. Also some of my dogs didn't care for the chew tase and didn't enjoy it like a treat. Thankfully expalined this to chewy and they made note this, should definitely be cheaper for the results you get.
