Palatable and likeable

What's worse than a dog with an upset stomach? 2 dogs with upset stomachs. What's worse than that? Two BIG dogs with upset stomachs. The Vet prescribed Science Diet with the same ingredients as this American Journey. They transitioned seamlessly to it from the 10# bag of Science Diet for 1/3 the cost and we are living happily ever after. The kibble is not dusty or crumbly. They seem to like the taste very much. I just wish the 40# bag was resealable.

Nothing but problems

I slowly started introducing this new food (because it was cheaper, grain free and had ingredients for joint health) but after almost two weeks of slowly increasing

I slowly started introducing this new food (because it was cheaper, grain free and had ingredients for joint health) but after almost two weeks of slowly increasing the amount it isn't the right food for my dogs. All of them had runny stool and gas that was bad enough to evacuate the room for. My Jack Russell also started developing rashes and itching. I would not recommend this food and I will stick with Victor dog food as none of my pups have ever had a problem with it.

DOG STILL STARVING

Not a high quality dog food will still need to suppliment it with a good vitamin supplement. I always feed fresh meat, apples, vegetables. My dog lived over 16 years

Not a high quality dog food will still need to suppliment it with a good vitamin supplement. I always feed fresh meat, apples, vegetables. My dog lived over 16 years old, and it was not just from dry dog food. When I make my meals, I make up his bowl as I go, like having a extra kid. I gather into my dogs bowl fresh veggies, basmalti rice, meat, homemade big pot chicken soup broth make ahead of time last the whole week. Same with liver and give thru out the week as treats, or crumble a little on top of his dry dog food. I wont mix his food with dog food or he will vomit it up. Yuck, like peple they like to enjoy the taste of real food to. In morning he gets some apple, and also with dinner it has natural enzymes, helps with digestion before or after meal time. All that left over food would normally be wasted in the garbage. I make it a habit, just to see my dog so happy, a long healthy life, and all his energy, his excitement its worth it. So I just get to watch a little less TV, lol, and play more with my dogs.

I purchased two bags of this dog food and it has given my dog very bad gas. He is older and it may be too harsh on his stomach.

Quality dog food

Great for picky eater

I was making food for my dog but it was going bad before I'd use it all and it was a pain for my dog sitters to use. I did a lot of research and have been using

I was making food for my dog but it was going bad before I'd use it all and it was a pain for my dog sitters to use. I did a lot of research and have been using American Journey for a couple of years now for my dog Max. He is a mid-sized mutt and is now a very healthy 14 years old. He has never had any issues from this food. I do pair it with the American Journey wet food at night.

We have used chewy’s for years now and have always had the very best service. We lost one of our precious dogs a week ago today and canceled our AutoShip shortly
