Less brothy but cats liked it.

By Tina on Oct 27, 2021

My cats don't really like pate and other meaty or chunky foods. They like gravies and broths. I had initially been mostly feeding them purina broths but they were getting too pricey. Tried this among some other brands. They really seem to like the flavor of the broth but they leave a lot of chicken behind. It seems like these packs are a little heavier on meat than broth (compared to purina). One cat pretty much never eats the meat bits so it's a bit wasteful. They'll finish it the case but I'm not sure about reordering. Definitely good for cats that's enjoy the meat bits in broth foods though.

    Great product!

By Tash on Dec 10, 2021

My cats are not big fans of chicken, but a friend recommended this brand. This chicken broth is excellent! My ladies love this new addition—I will repurchase it.

Cat likes, but contains unhealthy vegetable oil

By Zara on Sep 21, 2021

Sunflower oil is the third ingredient in these broths, which is unhealthy for cats and humans alike. It usually undergoes heavy processing and is already oxidized and denatured by the time it's mixed with other ingredients. This causes oxidative stress in the body, and long term, damages mitochondria and causes cardiovascular problems.

    He likes it

By PurinaONE on Oct 6, 2021

My cat really likes these. We call it "soup", because he licks all the juice up first. I like this brand because you can actually see the pieces of meat, instead of just a lump of paste that has questionable ingredients and he doesn't eat anyway.

    Pretty Good

    By BJM21 on Sep 13, 2021

My cats all went for this. One ate the whole thing, but one only liked the broth, leaving the meat. But she does that with other broths, too. I would recommend this, as it's hardier than the ones in the store.

    So far, so good

By Gibby on Aug 7, 2021

The picky princess seems to like this and cleaned her dish. However, she could change her mind next week. I do like the 16-count box instead or the usual 12. Oh, the trials of living with picky cats! A constant search for princess-approved food! Let's hope this one remains on the win list.

    20 year old kitty

By Patches on Jul 3, 2021

Patches is a 20 year old beloved cat and she is like any old lady, she is very fussy about what she will consume. I will do anything for her including whatever she wants which means cooked bacon and chicken breast. When I decided to give this American Journey Landmark Broths try I cheered when she agreed it was a winner!

    Nope not like this.

By Linda on Jun 6, 2021

The cats love the gravy on this product but the packaging doesn’t cut it for me. I have to really work my arthritic fingers to get the contents out of these pouches. If you don’t tear the top off cleanly, all the way across, there is no way I can squeeze all the contents out. It’s messy and inconvenient. Plus, for the cost, I can only get enough out of a pouch to feed one cat. One little can splits easily between two cats. I vote no on these.

    Picky cat said no

By jenA on Jun 24, 2021

It looks like a really healthy and wonderful product. But my cats (both) did not like it at all. Usually they will come by and lick the gravy at least. But they won't even touch this product. Bummer cause it actually looks good. So I've been giving it away to ppl hoping their cats will like it.
