How much would you feed as a supplement to dry food? How much dry food would you leave out when supplementing?

When combining wet and dry foods, it is best to take into account the pets daily caloric needs and ration the wet and dry foods accordingly to provide them with appropriate nutrition and calories. If I were a cat I might be able to tell you what stood out! As a cat mom all I can say is that this is a big hit with ALL of them. Sometimes the shreds are not fully shredded and I have to fix that while I have multiple cat eyes watching me and waiting (though not always patiently)!

He loved it. It didn't love him

I didn't read the description close enough and bought this thinking it was a complete meal. It's not. It's a topper. Smells good, looks good. He scoffs it down and

Sometimes we just give each some in a dish for a treat. It's truly a great meal for our kitties. The canned chicken is great as well. Helps our kitties stay healthy and happy.

The Shredded pieces are too long and dry. The cats liked to lick the broth, but didn't want to eat the meat. Sometimes if I would cut it into smaller pieces they

The Shredded pieces are too long and dry. The cats liked to lick the broth, but didn't want to eat the meat. Sometimes if I would cut it into smaller pieces they would eat some, but the only one they would eat at all was the plain chicken. Even the 5 strays we feed outside don't like it. The racoons, that come into our yard at night, like it. The possums, too.

Our 18-year-old cat has intestinal lymphoma and we're providing palliative care. On many days he doesn't feel like eating at all. But he loves the abundant thick broth from this food and will often lap up a few spoonfuls when he won't touch anything solid. Especially helpful: we can dissolve his pills in a little water, add a bit of broth, and he'll usually lap it up. The other cat will eat some of the solid food, so it isn't wasted; but frankly I don't mind some of it ending up in the compost, if the broth is all the old guy will eat. There's usually a pretty good percentage of broth in the can. The fish flavors seem too strong for him on his bad days; he always liked the chicken/turkey better than straight chicken; he carefully spits out vegetables; so this is the broth of choice. (I notice that there's a product called "Landmark Broth" but reviewers say it doesn't contain much broth!)

Best wet food my cats have ever had

My 5 cats LOVE this food. Consistently their favorite, never rejected by any of them. I mainly use it as a topper for their raw diet but they also eat it by itself

My 5 cats LOVE this food. Consistently their favorite, never rejected by any of them. I mainly use it as a topper for their raw diet but they also eat it by itself when I forget to thaw their raw food. It never upsets anyone’s tummies, the litterbox never smells awful, I can’t hype this food enough. Plus the broth is very hydrating! Oh and the price point too. Especially when it goes on sale! I always stock up on this one. Don’t waste your $ on the name brands, try this one first!
