    American Journey cat food

By kittymama on Jan 2, 2021

I have done numerous hours of research on cat food through the years because I want to feed my babies the healthiest food I can at an affordable price. I like the American Journey brand because the ingredients are all what's good for them. No carrageenan, which can cause cancer. No corn, wheat or soy. Just the good stuff at a reasonable price! My cats like it, and I feel good feeding it to them.

I like it but they don't

By gotCats on Nov 3, 2020

I really wish my three cats would eat this food. It looks good, smells better, and it's good for them. But I tried giving it to them plain, covered with broth and even added cat milk, but they left most of it in the bowl. The only way I can get them to eatit is to mix it with another food that has thick gravy on it. So that's what I'll do till it's gone, but sorry chewy, I won't be getting it again. My cats are just too darn picky for their own good.

My Cats Don’t Like This At All

By Pitchhiker on Oct 23, 2020

This new Landmark brand is made in Thailand and I suspect it is not really Chicken as the only thing my cats will do is drink the broth. I’m very disappointed and will probably donate it to the Humane Society.

    Quality product real meat

By Silvanilla on Dec 26, 2020

So far my cat loves it. Cats tend to get picky and out of all of them she prefers the chicken variety.

Yes on the Broth, No on the Chicken & Vegetables

    By CatMom9 on Oct 28, 2020 Top 1000 Contributor

Unfortunately this food is too expensive for it to sit in the dish and dry up before being disposed of. My kitties are happy to lap up the broth but show no interest in eating the food itself.

My name is Marlo and I loved the food my brofur Spatz did not he refused pretty much to eat it. But not your fault he seems to not like food that looks human.

9 out of 10 for Ingredients & Nutrition

By Connie on Jun 28, 2020 Top 1000 Contributor

I recently transitioned my cats to an all-wet food diet after one of them developed bladder stones that required surgery. This will hopefully prevent future UTI's, bladder stones or urinary blockages. Did hours of research, checked several reliable nutrition/review sites. Turns out American Journey Landmark is exceptionally well-rated. High protein with named meat source as the first ingredient, moderate fat, low carb, no artificial colors or flavors, no cheap fillers. Comparable quality-wise to Tiki and Instinct. It's not cheap but neither are vet bills for surgery that can come as a result of poor quality canned food, and especially from ANY kind of all-kibble diet. Too much liquid

By Ginger on Jul 23, 2020 Top 1000 Contributor

Opening the can, it smelled good. I think too much liquid because out of my three cats, two licked all the liquid. The picky one, wanted nothing to do with it. They like the American Journey brand and this brand is part of Chewy so I thought I would give it a try, it was on special too. The cats don’t care about me saving money.

    Meh, Meh, Meh, Meh

    By Hajime19 on Jul 26, 2020 Top 1000 Contributor

I have 4 cats. They all have different likes and dislikes, but none of them would touch this food and the chicken is off color. You really notice the difference if you compare it to Canidae Adore Chicken & Carrots or Almo Nature Chicken & Carrots.

    disappointing

By Catspawn on Sep 17, 2020

I'm not certain this is a product from USA. Two cats... both will eat the "gravy" part but shun the "shredded" chicken
