This is the only brand of can food my cat will finish completely. You'd think an ex-feral would like any and all can food, but despite many brands, and different textures, she'd always leave some in the bowl. She actually cleans her bowl with AJ.
I have tried a multitude of brands/flavors of cat food to get my (2) 20 year old cats to eat. As always, first can get devoured & I'm doing a happy dance! After that, they won't touch the food again. I mean REALLY?? This stuff even looks good to me! I finally took them to the vet because they are losing weight and even walk away from canned tuna! Turns out they each have a medical condition causing upset stomachs and now need to be on a prescription diet. Each a different food. Aggravating but at least I know why they haven't wanted to eat. I will be sharing this same post in another review. Nothing against the food! They did love it - at first! Medical conditions prevented them from going back to eat it again.
My cats won't touch the chicken and vegetable. The chicken and turkey itself is just too long and stringy and I have to cut it up myself and there's way too much broth in these cans. I guess I just don't find it a very good value. The tuna and tilapia are about the only ones that they like out of that pack and the quality is very good. I'm not sure I would order this ever again. I ordered other variety packs and I guess we'll have to see when I get into those but I'm guessing the ones with fish in it are a much better quality.
I'm sorry to say Gary and Boris had a paw's down for this food. They sniffed took a lick then walked away. We are having a hard time finding a good canned food for both of them. I was hoping this would be the one, but they didn't seem to respond well. Guess this will be donated to the shelter. We'll keep trying different canned food.
This was suggested by Chewy based on the Fancy Feast item in my cart. I decided to give it a try for my senior cat. She usually isn't fussy but she would only lick the gravy on this food and that's it! I am donating several cans and I went back to Fancy Feast!
We have 3 cats with particular tastes. This is one moist food that we can purchase for all 3 cats. They love the broth and eat all the food. We switched from Friskies canned food because they were leaving a lot of food in their bowls.
10/10. My 17 year old cat is so picky with food and was becoming a skeleton even though she was offered everything dry and wet it didn’t matter she wouldn’t eat more than a bite or two. Since buying this she has put some weight back on and she eats at least a can a day, sometime two. I could not recommend this more.
8 cats no one will touch it. If they like a food they like it. No transitions needed. Yes I have and do use this tool and I will for this clean food. Most likely it will end up in the feral cats bowls at our 3 feeding stations it will go quick.
This food is really good. My cats like it a lot. There is a lot of liquid in the can though, not as much meat as I would expect. Other than that it’s good.
So this was another case on my order (other review on chicken/vege). Thought I could feed inside and outside cats...introduced a little at a time...nope they wont touch it. One outside cat usually eats anything. They might lick broth.
