This was so dry for something advertised as "with gravy". Also smelled kind of weird? One cat eats literally everything, so I take my cues from the other cat who gave a flat "no thanks" after a quick taste test. Also, both cats had some stomach upset around the time I fed them this. Not sure if it was from this or other food I had them try, but for various reasons I won't be purchasing again.
I have been buying this brand every 6 weeks for 2 years now and I love them. I have two elderly picky cats and they both love this food. I just recently tried this flavor and I have no complaints. This is one of the only cats food I feel good about feeding my babies and it is also one of the only ones that doesn't smell bad. It doesn't smell good by any means but it smells like meat and not that gross cat food smell. Very very happy and so are my babies
we offered this food to 7 different cats at the barn, looks okay, smells okay, but--only one cat was mildly interested, and I ended up donating the balance of the case--hopefully the food bank cats will eat it better than the barn cats did
I have never seen my cat refused a wet food but he hated it. He even does not want to smell. Only if I put water in it, he drinks the water. I gave it to my friend’s cat and she also didn’t even touch. And 5.5 oz cans are huge, for about three days a week I am trying to give my cat that wet food and everyday he gives me the middle paw.
Really thought my 14lb "Prince of Cats" would be mad for this stuff. Junior has gotten quite fussy recently.. mid life crisis @ 10 yrs old??...will keep trying. Looks "good enough to eat" - but wonder how other cats are responding....hmmm.
This is the cats' meow at least that's what my six cats told me. Cats aren't the greatest at fishing, so this is an ideal way to give them the seafood they crave.
My cats usually have the variety pack each one has either chicken or turkey with salmon or tuna so I figured they would like this one because it’s the same brand but both fish. Neither one of them liked it when just sniffed it and completely just walked away. The other one took a couple bites and then walked away. Either one have been back safe to say they hate it.
I got 2 flavors of American Journey cat food, a case of each. I thought they'd like it because it's minced, but they refuse to eat it. It is SO dry. There is no gravy in it. I'm mixing it with a can of shreds and feeding it to the 5 cats in the neighborhood that I feed each morning.
This is a great quality product per the ingredients, unfortunately neither of my cats will eat this. They just sniff and walk away
All 3 of my cats hate this food. They sniff it and then walk away nose in the air in disappointment. These are not picky cats but with this food, they are!
