AminAvast contains AB070597, a patented ingredient created through a proprietary process using amino acids and a peptide. AB070597 consists of: Glycine, L-Aspartic acid, L-Glutamic acid, L-Glutamine, L-Carnosine, L-Histidine, L-Arginine. AminAvast helps maintain the health of aging kidneys, complements a Protein Restricted Diet, maintains normal renal health, supports normal renal cell structure, maintains natural low levels of oxidative stress, supports a healthy coat, and supports overall health and vitality. There was a comprehensive two-year clinical study involving a large number of cats and a smaller study which included dogs. All individuals in the studies benefited from taking AB070597. Love this supplement!

My cat had heightened kidney levels so I started her on this supplement along with a low phosphorous cat food and it brought her kidney levels down within a month

My cat had heightened kidney levels so I started her on this supplement along with a low phosphorous cat food and it brought her kidney levels down within a month. She's a very picky eater, but has never noticed this supplement. Over the past year I had gotten lazy about remembering to add the supplement and I noticed her having small bladder accidents while she was sleeping. I started her on the supplement again daily and her accidents completely stopped. Definitely worth it!

Easy to hide in food

Bitsy is fussy so I worried I would not get this in her but I take apart the capsule and sprinkle it on her food and mix it so far so good and her only symptom Of

I would have never know she was I renal failure had they not not screening labs.

Increase in energy and mood after just a week

I was worried that our cats wouldn't eat their food with this added in (they can be touch and go with supplements), but there must not be any taste, thankfully,

I was worried that our cats wouldn't eat their food with this added in (they can be touch and go with supplements), but there must not be any taste, thankfully, because they don't hesitate. Our cats are 10 & 12 yrs old, no kidney issues (yet), and we want to keep it that way, so we decided to add this to give them a boost. It's been about a week and we've already noticed a pep in their step--more energy/playfulness, increased appetite, and our 12 yr old boy's hyperesthesia has even lessened (this may or may not have contributed?). We've started at only 1/2 pill each at dinner time, and may or may not increase the dosage from there. Overall, we're very pleased with this supplement!

My CKD cat was eating fine so I added this supplement and he ate it at first but then vomited twice. I tried it a second time and he would not touch it.

They have saved and enhanced her life.

Deedee is 18 and has stage 3-4 CKD, but with the pills she is stable, eating, has a beautiful coat, and we are hoping a longer life.

Don't Expect Customer Care

I had great hopes for this for my beloved cat who has CKD. Her situation was complicated and I needed additional guidance from the manufacturer. Their customer care

I had great hopes for this for my beloved cat who has CKD. Her situation was complicated and I needed additional guidance from the manufacturer. Their customer care is NON-EXISTENT. Multiple emails and VM's completely ignored. One was answered and kept parroting back what was on their website. I literally had to reach out to another company to help me. They were happy to do so even though it wasn't their product. If these people put the same level of care into making their product as they do in supporting it, let the buyer beware!!!

Lat few months trying to give liquid compounds steroids for CKD had proven to be a nightmare. His personalty changes and it did not help his CKD at all! I add this to his food, must be tasteless because he refuses most other supplements. Getting him off steroids and so I'm hoping this and another powder mix, will give him a more natural support. So happy my boys personality and playfulness back. Steroids should not be the 'GO-TO' for CKD

Better than "kidney diet" food

My 19-year-old cat's fur was getting raggedy and all he did was sleep, eat, poop. Had a blood panel done, result said kidney disease and vet loaded me up with kidney diet samples. He wouldn't eat any of them. Neighbor suggested AminAvast capsules. Pull apart and sprinkle powder on regular food. Ta da! His fur is back to its former soft silkiness and he is back to his silly, playful self.
