I currently raise and show English Setters. I wanted a tool To keep up with their coat growth . I discovered this tool when a pro handler showed me how it’s used and how if could keep there coats cleaned up and defused. Work great on my two blue dogs and is great on my 13 year old who grows coat like there’s no tomorrow. Thanks chewy

Works for long haired cats!

I bought this after a youtube channel had recommended it for brushing ragdolls. It works well, but do not overuse or else it will leave the cat's hair too thin.

Great for Undercoat But Be Aware It is Powerful!

This was recommended by a couple of groomers, and holy cow it delivers on getting undercoat. However, this is blade like and they (and I) agree it is more like a furminator! This is not just a rake-like tool, this is blade-like, so just be aware. It is exactly what I needed for my 35-45 lb herding dogs with a lot of undercoat. I don’t think this would appropriate for small dogs with thinner coats.

Not for my blue heeler

The dog won’t let me get near him with this , after a very gentle introduction, no way. If I pick it up he runs away. I’ll have to donate away.
