Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet’s exact health needs. Like in humans, vitamins and supplements can help support your pet’s long-term health, regulating everything from digestion to muscle growth. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.

Not sure how to rate this yet. My dog has taken this for about two weeks now and so far he does not seem any better, I do know sometimes it takes a month to notice a difference but honestly right now he seems worse and i'm a bit concerned.
Tried on my 12 yr old Havanese with a congestive heart failure. She has been on pimobendan and furosemide for a year. Since giving her this product, noticed an improvement with reduced coughing and collapsing or fainting and more energy. The direction says twice a day, but since increasing to 3 times a day, noticed a significant improvement. Squeeze the dropper through side of her mouth. She is still on her medications, but this has helped greatly and I highly recommend. Have not needed to increase her furosemide that I have had to do on occasion. So glad I found this product, and as a result, trying other products from Animal Essentials.
Heart Health is easy to give to my little chihuahua who has two leaking heart valves and suffers from Cushing's Disease. I just add the drops to her food.
Have senior dog,11 pounds, undignosed but sure in heart failure had bad cough from liquid in lungs purple tongue, hard breathing, fatigue, . This over weeks, improved function, less rapid racing heart rate. I went slow, to prevent any GI but its proved perfect. i started out with low dose ( 6 drops) Now he takes 1/2 teaspoon twice daily. major improvement . herbs take much longer then conventional chemicals. he is not on pharma.
My dog had a weird cough it Stopped immediately with this they eat it on their food no problem !!! All my babies are seniors and I have been giving this to them for months with zero problems !! BUY IT DONT WAIT
I wasn’t sure in the beginning if this will work for my little dogie that has a heart murmur and cough a lot. But through other reviews I decided to take a chance, since other products didn’t do it for me. She got it mixed with her food and stoped coughing and feeling way much better than before! Her energy level was increased and she seemed more happy and relaxed. I’ll definitely recommend this item very highly and continue to buy it for my Dixie as long as they’ll have it in stock! Thanks a lot Chewy for your great recommendation of this fantastic item!
Purchased hoping to help dog with enlarged heart problems. She started throwing up from it. Later I read garlic isn’t good for dogs and can cause nausea and vomiting. It could just be my dog is sensitive to the formula. If you try, I would only get the small bottle first to test it. I would like to know why they added the garlic.
Unfortunately my cat didn't like the taste to take it straight from the bottle. (Even my cat who eats ANYTHING turned up his nose.) I'll be adding it to his food but I'm not sure it's effective. I think the bacon taste probably suits dogs better than cats.
I don't know if this product will work or not, but just a heads up, it is not deodorized garlic. Very strong garlic odor. My dog won't go near it. May work for vampires though!
Got this for our Jack Russell diagnosed with Congestive heart failure on New Year's Eve. Even though he was on Enalapril and Lasix, he didn't have much of an appetite and still had a coughing spell a couple of times a day. Found this and started him on it right away, he had quite a few good days after that, hardly a coughing spell--but our hearts are broken as he passed away the other night. His heart was just too weak. I only wish I had found this sooner. At least we got to spend 6 more weeks with him, and he made the choice to leave us, so we wouldn't have to have him put down. :(
