Details

Animax is an FDA-approved medicated ointment formulated for the treatment of severe and chronic otitis of varied etiologies, in interdigital cysts found in cat and canine companions, as well as anal gland infections found in dogs. This veterinarian-prescribed ointment is also used to help manage skin disorders characterized by inflammation in both cats and dogs. Animax is made with four active ingredientsnystatin, neomycin sulfate, thiostrepton and triamcinolone acetonide, which provide anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, antifungal and antibacterial therapeutic effects.

Animax Ointment has been an absolute lifesaver. I’ve tried so many products for irritated, inflamed skin, and nothing worked as fast or as well as this. Within a day or two, the redness, itching, and irritation were noticeably better, and healing started almost immediately. A little goes a long way, it stays in place, and it actually works instead of just masking the problem. The only downside is that it used to be available without a prescription from your vet, but now a prescription is required.

Excellent ointment

My pup, Skye, had a pimple-like growth on her ear that was drained at the vet. Animax was given to aid in healing the area as opposed to using neosporin or polysporin

My pup, Skye, had a pimple-like growth on her ear that was drained at the vet. Animax was given to aid in healing the area as opposed to using neosporin or polysporin. Her ear healed quickly with no issues with the ointment (animax). Will continue using for similar issues should they arise. I'm grateful to Chewy for mailing me the meds quickly as soon as it was vet approved. Also thankful Chewy has more affordable options.

Worked when nothing else did

My dog had a raw place between his toes. We tried everything including surgery. Nothing worked until we tried Animax. It cleared up almost overnight. I feel so bad

This product works wonders! My Buster has allergies and it flares up in his ear (my poor baby) and his Dr prescribed it to be used as needed. This product is HALF the price from Chewy than from the vet, who referred me to buy it here as it is definitely more cost effective. Chewy even contacted the vet clinic for prescription confirmation and that didn't take long at all. I definitely recommend Chewy Pharmacy for all of your pet medications.
