At first, I loved using this spray often after I scooped my cats litter at the end of the day and thought it was making things smell better. However; both of my cats started wheezing and I did a little more research and these products contain fragrances that often contain VOCs, such as formaldehyde and benzene, which are linked to respiratory problems and even cancer with prolonged exposure! Please don’t make my mistake assuming that if it’s sold all over the pet market it should be safe and save yourself that vet bill because asthma medications and x-rays are expensive. Go ahead and just get a nice air purifier and scurb down that litter box with soap and hot water every week or so!

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!!!

I have purchased this fragrance booster only to have it arrive with it leaking all through the plastic bag it was packed in. Needless to say, the other products

I have purchased this fragrance booster only to have it arrive with it leaking all through the plastic bag it was packed in. Needless to say, the other products I purchased I had to clean them all up as they were all wet. I called Chewy and I was sent out a replacement only to have IT arrive with a broken sprayer on the bottle that didn't work. I didn't even bother to call Chewy this second time because I am truly disappointed with things arriving either broken, parts missing and other products they my cat surely did not like. I have only been with Chewy for a few months and was so excited to purchase things for my new kitten named Xyan as I was told this was a great company to purchase the supplies your fur babies need. If you read other reviews regarding his product there are many others that have had the same problem with the bottle arriving broken and leaking all over the other products that we had to clean up before using them. This is not how a customer is expecting things to arrive and I surely was NOT my responsibility to have to clean the other products in the box before use. New products should arrive in new condition and without problem. One good note about the product is that it has a really nice, pleasant smell. And I am sure if it arrived unbroken it would work well to fight litter odor. Since I have been purchasing from Chewy, I had my share of products that were either broken or otherwise. I am currenting thinking of changing companies as this is just such poor service. Most of the problem are caused from the shipping department not packing things securely. Items arrive with one piece of packing paper that is hardly enough to keep things from arriving in a damaged matter. This is not a problem with the delivery service as the outer shipping boxes arrive in good condition. It is all caused from those that just do NOT care how things are packed. It appears they just throw things in a box with no attention to how secure your products are packaged before leaving to be shipped out to the customer. I love the variety of products Chewy has to offer but for the price one spends you would expect things to arrive without problems. I am saddened by all the problems I have had in such a short time I have been using this company. There are other mail order companies that I am thinking to try to avoid the problems I should NOT have to go through each time an order arrives. If you are a customer that has had no problems with products arriving damaged, I am very happy for you and if you are a customer that reviews problems and gives 1-star reviews I know the frustrations you have to go through when things arrive and I support your 1-star reviews. Actually even 1 star is too much credit for such poor service.

GOOD PRODUCT, NEEDS BETTER PACKAGING

I have three male rescue kitties so we have a lot of litter boxes. I love how this product neutralizes odor, so I always buy and use it. What I find to be a constant problem is how the bottles are packaged. They are mailed in large, zip-lock style bags that do NOT stay closed and consequently, the bottles leak. Is it possible that the packaging people could use a shrink wrap style packaging for the spray bottles? I suggest coming up with a better way to keep this product from leaking, even before I can open my Chewy box!! Thanks for addressing my concerns.

You’re selling a great product but not putting it in a bottle that can withstand what chemicals are in the bottle. I get about three uses out of it and then the sprayer goes kaput and leaks all over me anytime I try to use it.

Spray bottle
