Does this have any perfume in it? I am allergic to perfume and cannot have any in my home. I can handle scents (meaning things that have smell, like essential oils, food, flowers, etc.) but not those created with perfume.

can you use arm and hammer carpet fresh in the cats litter box?

This powder is designed for use within a litter box. In a clean, empty litter box pour Arm & Hammer Litter Deodorizer to cover the bottom of the litter box. Add any type of cat litter as usual. Sprinkle deodorizer on top of litter and mix in. After the cat does their business in the litter box, they will dig to cover up their urine or feces and mix in the powder themselves.
do you have larger containers? I have 4 cat boxes going and 40oz would not do it.

At this time, this powder is only available in a 20 ounce or 30 ounce box.
What are the ingredients of this powder? Is it in anyway harmful to cats?

This product's ingredients are baking soda (sodium bicarbonate - all natural) with an added scent. This deodorizer is safe for cats.

Not what I expected

I thought this was going to be like baking soda, gets rid of odors and maybe has slightly more odor absorbing power. The good news is, yes it did help get rid of the poo smell but unfortunately it has a VERY strong perfumeish odor on it. It's so strong it actually made both me and my husband sneeze and gave me a headache. :/ The box itself doesn't quite close so I also have to put that into a plastic ziplock bag to keep the scent in. I was hoping it was going to be odorless like regular arm & hammer baking soda but it's too strong. I'll keep it around for a bit longer but if it makes me sick, and I'm a human, I can't imagine that my cat is enjoying this. Fortunately the smell subsides after a few minutes so I only use it VERY LIGHTLY SPRINKLED after cat poop. Otherwise I keep it ziplocked in its bag.

no more sticking

This product really helps prevent the urine from sticking in the box. Makes it easier to scoop out. Not sure how much it really helps with odor though.

Good deodorizer

I was very pleased with the results when using the Arm & Hammer litter deodorizer. It was a good aid in keeping the litter box fresh for quite a while.

Good Addition

Just started using this particular product. So far so good, it seems to help with the odor that is collected in a small space when used along with a litter box filter.

awsome works great smell goes bye bye and keeps litr ladting longer cleaner fresher also aids in finding those real well burried stink bombs lol i wuldnt have a litter box without it

too dusty and smelly

This has a very strong perfume smell. It does help to get rid of odors but I have to wear a mask and keep the box closed in a ziplock bag. I only sprinkle a little bit after kitty does #2. I think you're better off using regular baking soda than this.

My go to litter powder!

This stuff is amazing. I have been years it for a decade or more. I have tried others and I haven't found one that I didn't like but always gravitate back to this one. Smells amazing, doesn't deter my cats or bother them in any way (that I can tell) no sneezing or wheezing. Best part is a little goes a long way and you don't have to use it all the time. It brings a nice freshness during complete dumps of litter.

It's great, and it's NOT just baking soda

This is a great product, and I am compelled to write a review for two reasons. First, it greatly enhances the effectiveness of the litter, and second, I would like to clarify that this is not just baking soda, as suggested by another reviewer. It does contain baking soda, which is fine. It also contains some fragrance, which is okay, but not the reason I use it. The ingredient that makes this work so well is the hydrated silica. That's what sucks up moisture and makes the litter clump so well. I use it periodically to "refresh" the litter, but this also extends the time between complete litter changes. Great product!

Strong Deodorizer

I was surprised how strong scented this product was. I only use it in my Litter Genie.
