Good dustless litter
We have used this in the Litter Robot for about 4 years. It doesn’t make the room dusty, it works perfectly in the Robot, and people are always surprised to find we have indoor cats as the house NEVER has a nasty litter smell. TIP - if using with the Litter Robot use less litter in the globe. I keep about a scoop under the line as when using too much of these heavier litters the globe tends to stall midway through the cycle. Easy fix is to use a bit less litter to make it work as the Litter Robot makes life SO much easier!
NO LONGER 100% DUST FREE
Recently, the formula must have changed. the picture says 100% dust free, but the box that I received says 99.9% dust free. i bought this litter because, in the past, it has always been very low dust. Now, there is a noticeable difference in the amount of dust that is tracked up. Believe it or not, the 0.01% change in dust is alot of dust. Wont be ordering this again.

Best litter I have ever used. Easy cleaning. I was in a bind as a caretaker for my husband and did not get my litter in time. I bought one in the store (they did not have Slide) and boy was I sorry. My litter boxes were messy, smelly and poop stuck to the pan. I upped the date on my subscription so I could get my Slide earlier. I was so happy when it was delivered. Thank you Arm & Hammer. Never want to run out again.
Worst Litter I've Used
I've been on a mission recently to find the best cat litter out there, and have been working my way through the top-rated brands. I had high hopes for this, since it seemed to be the hot new litter on the block. Unfortunately, there's a couple of dealbreakers. Most importantly, the smell: I can't overstate how disgusting this litter smells (even without any waste in it). I thought other reviews were likely being overdramatic, but no: after about a week of using this litter, the entire apartment constantly smelled like a dirty diaper and it had to go. Secondly, the fine sand-like texture means that litter will be spread and tracked everywhere. If you want the area around your litter box to look like a sandbox, great - otherwise go for a litter with larger granules. Because besides those issues (mostly the smell), the clumping performance was decent. I suspect that there's really nothing unique about this litter that makes it "slide" other than the fine granule size, which as I mentioned also causes a ton of tracking.
Good Litter
This litter has been great at controlling odors, clumps well, and doesn't stick in the box. The only downside was that my cat tracked it everywhere, even with mats around the box. The pieces are super fine and almost sand-like, so it constantly gets stuck in his feet and longer fur and falls off around the house.
WHY SO DUSTY???
The last 2 boxes I’ve purchased were some of the dustiest boxes of cat litter I’ve ever purchased in my life. I’m considering throwing the entire box away and purchasing locally. If I’m choking just scooping away their poops and pees, I can’t imagine what it’s like them having to use it. I’m not one to be a stickler for a dusty cat litter probably because I live in Phoenix and there’s nothing but dust here, but what were they thinking when they put this on the market?? It’s awful.

The products are great, and my cat is very happy....but my only complaint is how they are shipped. Maybe they can be shipped separately? I had a 20lb bag of cat food, and a box of litter shipped in the same box, which ideally, is great, but the package was so heavy, it was hard to move. Other than that, I love Chewy!

Love this litter! Works, ez to clean, no tracking, cats say OK, lasts longer than anything else I tried, BUT I CANNOT LIFT THE BOX OR EVEN WALK IT OR PUSH IT INTO THE HOUSE!! N o way! I am a Senior, don’t consider myself a weakling, however these boxes are much too heavy for us older peeps! Would be great if you could repackage without raising the price too much.
Beat liter EVER!
This litter does exactly what it claims to. Easy scooping, low dust particles and little to no tracking litter outside the box. There is minimal odor from the litter box. Totally worth the few extra dollars. And thank you Chewy and FedEx for you too notch customer service!
The only one my pickiest cat will use
This is the ONLY one my picky boy with feline urinary cystitis issues will use. He is a high strung, easily stressed boy. We have tried the red box, we have tried special urinary litters and attractants, we have tried cheaper litters and other brands and other types of litters. This is BY FAR his favorite. It clumps very well and will NOT stick to the bottom of the box IF you keep it filled to where it needs to be. We have read that from another review and it is the trick. Even if it sticks, it is SO easy to scrape from the bottom of the box and comes off easily than cheaper litters that cling like sticky mud. A quick scrape before dumping and a gentle tap on the trash can dislodges anything stuck easily. Much easier than the other stuff we tried. My sense of smell is more sensitive than my partner's and while he was happy with the red version of this product, I could smell an unpleasant difference. We tried switching to a cheaper brand and his nose got bothered and he begged for name brand again. For a multi-cat household and a special boy who prefers this litter after trying other brands, this is an absolute necessity in our house. We LOVE that Chewy ships to our doorstep so I don't have to carry it across our parking lot. It's cheaper than at my local store, so again, no heavy lifting for me. And Chewy frequently gives us sales and discounts. I can't thank Chewy or recommend this litter nearly enough. It IS expensive, but it is WELL worth the price for the odor control and a happy boy at home. We will never stray from this brand.
