Thought I would try it because it says clumps hard and has several pounds. We usually use Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Slide, 38lbs. My husband who tends to the litter boxes said he preferred the Clump & Seal for it finer pieces and slightly less dust. The cats were a little stand offish about it at first also. He asked me not to purchase it again. Not a bad litter though.
I refuse to use other litters because this stuff is literally the best. I've had folks who visit me say that they don't believe I have so many litter boxes in the house because they could not smell them. For the folks who say it's not clumping well, they likely need to scoop a little litter on top of a pee clump and then scoop and it will be fine.
The “fresh scent” was so overpowering that my cat wouldn’t use to box. The scent was overwhelming for me as well. Stopped using it. That being said, historically I’ve had excellent luck with other A&H litters
I usually like this litter. However, this 40 pound box had a ton on powder. I had to take it outside to sift it to let the dust be carried away by the wind. I'll probably buy a smaller box next time.
My cat that usually loves anything and everything refused to even step foot in the box that had this litter in it. She looked at me like I grew another head. When my other cat used it, it didnt cover up any odors. It smelled like urine sooooo bad!!! I dumped the box immediately and went to go buy something else. Horrible! :(
It doesn't say this clearly on the box, but this litter is scented. I'm super bummed because it was $20 and apparently my car would rather pee on my bed.
I will not buy this item again......did not CLUMP was like wet SAND
Shockingly, this just ISN'T CLUMPING! NOT GOOD!! I've used Arm and Hammer litter exclusively for years and have always been pleased. I ordered this variety for the first time because it was relatively affordable and available! (Pet Supplies are difficult to find right now.) I wish that I'd just bitten the bullet and ordered a more expensive choice that I know works! For some reason this one is not clumping and that's causing myself and my four cats REALLLLLY annoying issues. You can imagine. I recommend A&H cat litter but don't waste your money on this one the way I have!
Did not clump as much as I had hoped. Will try other types of Arm & Hammer since I know they are a good brand.
You can literally skip the scooping for 2 days. When you do scoop it's like having brand new litter. I have 2 boxes and 3 cats.
