Lavender can be toxic to cats when inhaled a lot. Double/triple checking the oils are animal safe is super important!

The lavender smell was so strong it irritated MY eyes and nose. Cats are super sensitive to smell, and I've read numerous articles where lavender oils are toxic to cats. I returned them for a refund and Chewy was great about that..but I would really like to see Chewy remove these collars and all lavender based cat products from their inventory.

For one it makes her smell so good. I have noticed her excessive grooming has calmed down. I put it on her last night. And this girl hasn't had the zoomies since she was real young. But today she is playing with her toys and running around and acting like a kitten. I'm really happy I got this collar for her she wasn't a fan of having a collar at first but I think she doesn't mind it so much now.

This collar smells like essential oils were poured all over. My cat kept taking it off the first day, i’m thinking he’s being picky. He comes to lay down with me, and that’s when my nose was as close to it as his. The scent was so strong, I could taste it!!! I’m imagining, if MY nose was so sensitive. Imagine my poor kitty, and his super nose! No other brand I’ve used has had a scent nearly that strong. My boy, couldn’t wait to take it off. The scent lingered on his neck for about a week after as well. I find clear collars work best so far!

Smells awful and toxic for cats

I bought the collar to help my 14 year old tuxedo kitty adjust to a new cat. When I opened the package I was immediately wafted by the strongest fake lavender smell. I put it on both cats to see how they would react and they both just seemed kind of stunned. I eventually felt so bad making them smell that awful smell that I took it off within 30 minutes. I was trying to imagine myself in their shoes- being forced to smell that all day would be torture. It was torture for me just being near it. I think start googling and see a BUNCH of posts talking about how toxic lavender essential oils are for cats and their little kidneys. I want my money back- this is a total scam.

These collars smelled so strongly that I could not stand to be around my cats. They did seem to calm them down, but i'm wondering if it's because they, too, were overwhelmed by the smell. Cats have a much stronger sense of smell than we do, so I can only imagine the effect it was having on them. It removed the collars and left them in a spare room, and the entire room reeked of them. No thanks. I suppose I should return them.

Mary would bite my feet. She also would become anxious if I was gone for too long or be somewhat skittish in the home. Since I put the calming collar on her which by the way she let me put on, she has not bitten me and has been very responsive and relaxed which is nice to see. Noises aren’t scaring her as much, she wants to cuddle more, and is more patient with me - she’s not constantly demanding treats.

Didn’t calm them much

They both liked the smell, overwhelmingly lavender, but it didn’t quell their issues with each other when I’m not home. Still fighting- 16-year old little 6# calico

They both liked the smell, overwhelmingly lavender, but it didn’t quell their issues with each other when I’m not home. Still fighting- 16-year old little 6# calico cat and young 5-year old ginormous 16# wide-eyed coon cat, raised together when the latter was a kitten, but now they annoy each other. Collars weren’t a help.
