Is this product good for a dog with liver problems (high enzymes)?

My dog has had lots of liver issues, including liver cancer. He uses this for his GI issues, but not necessarily for his liver issues. It does help his digestion and bowels though. The main thing they've recommended for his liver is Denamarin Advanced. Ask your vet about it. It's a liver health supplement.

They make a 40 ounce size. Any chance you might start carrying it? I have two dogs, and the 12 ounce size doesn't last very long.

After returning from our 2 week vacation, we noticed our dog "wheezing" and gagging at certain times during the day. We weren't sure if he had kennel cough or had pulled on his leash/ collar or was just excited and maybe he was experiencing the "backwards sneeze" that happens when excited. After researching, decided to try pro biotics in case he has reflux. We've used Bernies for about a month (just 1 tblspoon 2x a day for our 65lb pit/pointer mix). He rarely struggles with former condition now.... but I'm not positive that he wouldn't have healed on his own. I do want to note that there was no real change in his potty habits or consistency. Since gut health is important, we will keep him on it as it isn't an expensive preventative.

Now her gas is much improved, I just need to make sure she eats any treats or meals with a teaspoon of Bernie’s. Totally a game changer. I will say Josie doesn’t seem to love the flavor. It did take about 2-3 weeks before we noticed any improvement. However, ever since then, we have noticed that his poops are firm and he has no more tummy issues!

I will start by saying it does take a little while for your dog's gut to become used to this supplement. follow the instructions! While results may not be overnight, I can say this has been by far my favorite dog supplement of all time. It is the only probiotic that one dog in my house can stomach. It solved the gas and horrific stomach issues of my late shepherd mix. It has kept my senior dog and my fussy puppy regular. I've never ever had a dog turn their nose up at it. It's one of only 2 supplements I consider non-negotiable in my home!

I absolutely highly recommend. I’ve been using this product since I adopted my boys in 2022. They both had pudding poops which made it difficult to pick up those poops. It takes some ciphering to figure out the correct dose, but it’s all natural so there’s very little risk and a lot of reward. 1/2 teaspoon twice a day and like Bernie, my boys also have perfect poops.
