I applie 10 drops to my cat ears and he jumped up and shook his head crazy is this normal and this product smells like alcohol is that normal

Answer by ChewyMar 15, 2021
You may apply up to 10 drops per ear depending on the severity of the mites and what the cat will allow you to. This is a thick substance that contains an alcohol smell to it. Most cats will shake their heads because they are not use to having something placed in their ear canal.

How long does it take to get rid of mild ear mites with this product??

Answer by ChewySep 14, 2020
To control spinose ear ticks and ear mites and to remove ear wax, apply 10 drops to each ear. Massage base of ear a few minutes to assist penetration of the ear wax by the solutions. Allow pet to shake its head. Wipe excess solution from the ear with cotton. Repeat every 2 days until condition has cleared up or as directed by your veterinarian. As a preventative treatment, apply this solution every 15 days to reduce ear mite and ear tick infestation and ear wax accumulation.

How many cats will this treat?

Answer by ChewyAug 03, 2020
The amount of cats this will treat will vary. For each individual cat, place 10 drops in each ear and repeat every 2 days until condition has cleared up.

How fast it works

We have tried other ear might meds and they keep coming back either the same or worse. This kind started clearing up their clawing ears time. It seems to work great

This smells like strong alcohol and burns like it too! I have a small cut on my hand and some of it got on it. And it burns! By the time you realize your cat's ear is bothering them, they scratched up their ear. Can you imagine your whole ear burning? I was wondering why my cats flat out hate this and now I know why. They were acting like I was torturing them

Just a squirt in each ear, massage the ear and it does the rest. I highly recommend this product It will NOT disappoint !!! Even my vet said “I’ve never seen a bulldog with such clean ears“!!!

Our son’s tuxedo cat Wyatt immediately went into kidney failure after using this product. He went from 12lbs to 7 very quickly and could barely walk. I have fed him by syringe, given him daily meds, and held him in constant pain. He developed painful sores and swelling in his throat and tongue (perhaps at ear canal) he got dehydrated, stopped eating and drinking, his kidneys and organs were failing and I was going to put him down. Our son begged me to give him another week. Syringe food water and meds forced on him eventually brought him somewhat back. His bones still protrude and he is back up to 9 lbs. if you look, this has happened to more than a few users.

I have a Great Pyrenees who got ear mites at the dog park. I didn’t realize that she had been exposed till I started to smell that yeasty smell. I started with the ear washes, wipes and drops. Each time I thought we were clear, they started up again. I went thru so many different products with the same results. The ear mites came back. I have a friend that does rescue work. She guaranteed that this was the only product I should be using. She has rescued so many dogs that I trust her advice completely. She was right, the mites are gone now and I’m doing maintenance rather than a full on attack that I had been doing. I can’t recommend bio-groom enough. I will always have it on hand now.
