Can I mix the sensitive stomach recipe with the weight control recipe? And does there have to be a transition period?
Answer by ChewyJun 06, 2018
It's not recommended to mix those diets unless you're transitioning. It's always recommended to transition your pet to avoid gastrointestinal upset.

Cats love it! So does Cat Mom!

Of 5 cats, we have one who is easily intimidated by the others at the feeding area. Consequently he does not eat enough. Additionally, he throws up easily (stress? hairballs? both?). So I bought this to see if he'd like it and if it would help to feed him separately. Good news! He loves it and cleans his plate whether other cats are nearby or not. Turns out that the other cats love it, too, and barfing overall is significantly reduced in our household. Bonus for us is that the small size and round shape of the kibbles discourage crumbs being left all around the food bowls. It's a bit more expensive that what we had been feeding, but the benefits for the entire family are worth it.

Another good Blue product

I have three cats and they all eat wet and Blue dry food. One of them is more inclined toward vomiting, so I am trying the Sensitive Stomach variety. They play musical chairs with their wet and dry food bowls, so the two others are getting some of this as well as the indoor and general variety Blue dry food as is she. The good news is that they all like all three dry foods. As for her stomach - well, she hasn’t been vomiting much. I guess that’s a win-win.

Blue Buffalo Sensitive Not so good

I've searched for a sensitive stomach cat food and landed upon this one from Blue Buffalo. I expected any one of my 3 fur babies to at least eat some of this, but not a ONE would even try it! Three cats, all with different needs, tried feeding at different times and NONE wanted anything to do with this. It has a very unique smell, maybe this is the problem, and no, I didn't try it myself. The cats have rated this food as a NEGATIVE, so we'll locate something else.

Picky eater loves it!

My cat is a picky eater. She has turned up her nose at many types of food I have tried. She also has allergies and is prone to puking, so I've tried many "sensitive stomach" varieties. When I put this in front of her, she started to eat it right away and continues to happily eat at meal times after a couple of months of using this food. Her allergy symptoms seem to have lessened, as well as the puking. All in all, I would say this food is a winner!!

Finally, a dry food that my cat doesn't throw up

Typically, I return from a weekend trip to a million different throw up piles around the house. But this time, not one. Not to mention, all three of my very different finicky cats LOVE this brand and flavor. They all inhale it the same way they inhale their treats and snacks. This will now be my goto dry food for now on. Not sure why this sensitive stomach formula does the trick, but it does and I am grateful and so is my kitties tummy.

Definitely Worth A Try

I purchased this food aiming for a little bit healthier food that would hopefully be gentle on my cats stomachs. I have two 2 year old male cats that are both successfully eating this, with no vomiting. They don't tolerate every food out there, even the healthier ones. I mix this with another brand, of a similar variety. It seems to be a good choice thus far.

Finally found a great one

I couldn’t be happier. We have six cats and one needs Science Diet D/D which can get quite expensive for six. I did some research to find one similar since it was helping out one cat. First attempt wasn’t a hit. Tried this one and many surprises! The one kitty stopped with diarrhea. The overall cat vomit in the home plummeted. One a week, if that. The little box doesn’t have loose stools at all anymore. I am not sure they all love it since one eats less of it but he’s chubby so no problem! We won’t leave this cat food now that we have discovered it.

Great Food for cats with pancreatitis

I needed a good food with no wheat, soy or chicken by-products that my cat would eat. she loves it. I am so grateful to find a good food that she can eat. it arrived early in very good condition. Thank You.

Kitties don't like it

Bought this to try and change things up for my kitties. However, neither of them will touch it. My older cat is pretty picky to begin with so I'm not surprised, but my younger one won't even touch it... and she LOVES to eat. I'm sure not the foods fault itself, but definitely something about it they don't like.
