Pretty good piggy
My dog loves pigs ears and these are no exception. They are a little lighter and crispier than our usual brand so do not last as long, but better value as they come in a pack of 10. I typically choose pigs over bones as they seem to digest better and in 20+ years I haven't had an issue with pieces getting stuck or making gums bleed. They do smell but it's not terrible, and I imagine if you have a messy chewer they would get everywhere - our dog vacuums up after himself thoroughly though so no problem here! We had a little trouble opening the packet and had to cut it, which unfortunately means the zip lock is no longer functional.
Big and crunchy!
These are some really great quality pig ears! At first I thought they were better suited for larger dogs because they are quite big pieces, but even my 7lb pup enjoyed it! I loved that they kept their crunchiness throughout the whole eating experience, I’ve had a couple instances where the ears become very gummy and chewy and my pups lose interest shortly after. I would say these are good treats for any spectrum of chewers. My heavy chewer was able to stay busy for a bit longer than with regular chews, and my nibbler enjoyed the treat all the same. As stated on the package, the ears can be a bit messy. I let my babies enjoy their treat in the backyard to avoid any clean ups.

Aspen, Tuff and Clara LOVE these pig ears. Before I could get the bag open they were doing the happy tippy tap doggy dance. Once the bag was open, they about jumped with joy. They could smell the delicious treat they were about to get. The pig ears are huge! Such a good size for a pig ear treat. All of the girls crunched into their pig ear and ate it up completely. Even my old dog who's missing a few teeth was able to chomp though these. They're great! 5 out of 5 tail wags. As I write this they're trying to figure out a way to steal the rest!
Moisture in bag
I was super excited to receive this product and let my dog, who has a SUPER sensitive stomach, try the pig ears. As advertised there are 10 in the bag, they’re a good size for my 70 pound dog and the packaging indicates they’re distributed from Florida. Unfortunately though there is a lot of moisture in the bag. I’ve purchased some chews (only individual though) so not sure if the moisture is common or an anomaly. Looked at the product description, FAQs and reviews and didn’t see anything about moisture so I’m going to discard just in case it’s an anomaly and the moisture may cause digestive issues for my golden doodle.
New Favorite Treats
My dogs really enjoyed these treats, they are a decent size and large enough to where my dogs have to chew the treats and you don’t have to worry about choking hazards. Always of course supervise them eating these. It can sometimes be difficult to find treats both of my dogs enjoy, these my fair my dog with a sensitive stomach well. They are also easy to clean up and don’t create too much of a mess where the pups eat them, which is always a plus. I would highly recommend these because my dogs can tend to be picky eaters and these are a win. They are also natural treats which is something that is important to me.
Pig ears make a great quick snack
Doggo approved! This pig ear snack had a mild smell compared to other natural products. It did leave a few crumbs behind, but my dog is pretty good at going back to clean them up. I was worried about staining, but he ate this on our beige office carpet and no mess left behind. It took him about 10 minutes to eat the first one. But he’s a power chewer so I’m sure he’ll get that down to about 6 minutes with some practice. If you’re looking for a longer lasting chew, I would say maybe try something else. It’s so thin, it doesn’t take much for strong jaws to splinter it to pieces. It does make a rather obnoxious cracking sound as he’s chewing it up, but I didn’t mind. I always worry with natural chews that he’ll swallow too big of a piece and create blockage. But I like how thin and digestible these ears are… even if he forgets to chew, there’s not as much material there to breakdown upon digesting. I’m much less worried about blockages than with other stick-form natural chews.
Crunchy & No Mess!
I gave each of my dogs a USA Bones & Chews All Natural Pig Ears the day they arrived. The Pig Ears had no strong smell and were not greasy; they were also quite large. The dogs were very excited when I opened the bag! Annie, my Staffordshire Terrier-mix grabbed hers and ran to the living room all excited; she finished hers in less than two minutes. I was a little concerned she would not chew it sufficiently before swallowing, and she did choke a little a on big piece. Shelby, the smaller German Shepherd-mix ran outside to enjoy in peace; hers lasted approximately ten minutes. Both dogs seemed to like the flavor and the crunchiness; they left no pieces to clean up.
Pig Ears CHEERS!
My Freya girl jumped for joy when I opened the bag of these treats. The smell wasn't unpleasant like other crispy meat chew treats can be. I like the fact that they are made in the USA and the only ingredient is pig ears. My dog loved these and finished one rather quickly within about 20 to 25 minutes but was focused on nothing else but devouring it. I know that even my cats were interested in this treat, enjoying the smell. I would absolutely recommend thia product.
Loved by our Pup & Pretty Good by Us, Too!
We ordered these for our small dog and she absolutely LOVED it. She might have loved it a little too much...she was actually possessive of it and wouldn't let us take it away! They are hard to break apart into manageable pieces so we gave her the full ear initially. It was a little hard on her digestive system. We tried to break the next piece to give her but it actually was crumbly and a little too messy for indoors for us. She will enjoy these outside for sure! And we love that they are supposed to be good for her teeth, too!
The best chews for your dogs!
My boys absolutely loved this product and constantly are begging me for more! These pig ears are a lot softer than the ones I normally find, making it a lot easier for my boy with dental issues to eat! You can also tell that these ears aren't bleached like so many can be. Highly highly recommend! Some of the best chews I've gotten for my dogs!
