I put a nut suet and this raisin suet in a double feeder. The raisin one had to be replaced 3 times faster. It was clear to see that all birds prefer this. Our Woodpeckers visit often just to get some.
I had this suet in my suet feeder for two days, totally gone!! Birds absolutely loved it, I noticed newcomers also .
We've had Downy and Red-Bellied Woodpeckers along with Chickadees visiting this suet cake since hanging it. I hung it from a well tied shoestring to not be too near heavy branches or on a pole squirrels can navigate, and so far it's kept them from trying. It held up well through an unexpected night of torrential rain. Highly recommend and will purchase again.
First time trying this item. It was a big hit with the birds in back yard. Was gone within 24hrs.
Our birds loved the raisin suet I would definitely buy more.
Birds flocked to it right away, pecking away all day!
I ordered an 8 pack of this and put 1 in a suet feeder. For almost 2 weeks since it has been in my suet feeder I have not seen any birds eat it. To get any birds, or even squirrels to eat this, I have to break it up into small pieces and place it on a ground platform. I wonder if this suet was stale.
Purchased this to add as a supplement to other nuts and berries mealworms. I chop it into pieces and add to mix. My Thrashers, scrub jays, Roadrunners, all are loving the new addition to the food.
my wiild garden birds love this suet in the winter its gone withing a few days word got out and they flock from all over
Birds just love it. They make sure we know when their suet holder is empty.
