Rotten, Infested
These seeds are disgusting. Between 1/3 and 1/2 of them have a hole in the shell where something entered, and are eaten and rotten on the inside. The photo shows seeds with holes and what they look like on the inside. Birds eat them but I feel I wasted my money on garbage. I previously purchased a beautiful product through Chewy: Prairie Melody Pesticide Free Premium Black Oil Sunflower Bird Food. I'm so disappointed it is not sold anymore.
full of woodchips
I have bought two bags of this dark oil sunflower...it is loaded with what look like small wood chips.. this is the second order that has a lot of this trash in the sack..I am switching brands

These black Sunflower seeds the birds love it! I put two feeders out- a tube feeder and and a Pennington platform feeder hanging on a shepherd pole. I get all kinds of little birds: finches, titmouse, chickadees, cardinals, nuthatchers, little downy woodpecker, and others;) They all love these sunflower seeds. I even put some in my other flat feeder out back.
