Unhappy Uhura she angry it work I'm happy it's WORK'S !!!!!! Thank you Pointing this one out I'm really happy with the results I just put her medicine in her eye because it's messed up somehow she scratched it and the vet wanted me to use the coma shame on her It's taken it off her head I doubt and liked to hook it around her collar Tried to pull it off it tried to choke her so I was really unhappy with the one he gave me in fact I'm getting dumped this 1 works amazing I thank you I am so happy thank you again even though a Uhura is not
Calm Paws Collar
This collar is very well made, and Im sure more comfortable than the E collar. But I have a large 11 month lab and I no sooner got this on him and in to time flipped it off his head, I gave it another try and he was able to get his mouth around it and tried to destroy it. I really wanted this collar to work, back to the E Collar. I guess it depends on your pup, mine is just wild.
Very helpful
Provides comfortable way to keep surgery site or wounds protected from licking during recovery. My little dachshund adapted immediately to this soft but firm inflatable collar. He has no problem navigating the doggie door or drinking water. Have only had to add air every couple of days. Would definitely recommend.
The Best thing ever
Made my dog feel so much better with the pain the surgery caused, this was way more comfortable than the hard plastic cones. I've used one for all my dogs. The best product. This particular brand was the best made.
Better than the cone but...
I like every thing about this collar. It was easy to inflate and didn't need to be reinflated. The pillow was well made with good quality materials. But since PupDog had to be on very "limited duty" she spent a lot of time sleeping. This collar did not allow for her to rest her head comfortably. I had to go back to the plastic. We both are very disappointed that it didn't work.
Better than a cone
I used this when it was raining outside and did not want to get the Suitical wet, works great, you feed the collar in the inside and it stays put, I have a 100lb Rottweiler pup so indoors is back to Suitical because she will knock everything over :D
Much better than cone of shame!
The size large is perfect for our 65 lb boxer. Our poor girl had an issue with her eye and hated the plastic cone from the vet. She bumped into furniture, had trouble drinking without making the cone a slobbery mess, and got dirt stuck to it when sniffing around outside. This inflatable dog collar keeps her from rubbing her eye, but she can easily maneuver furniture, drink, explore outside, and it seems much more comfy for sleeping. The second day the valve had worked itself open, but since then it has remained closed and I've only had to refill the one time in 3 days. She does manage to work it off about once a day, but we just put it right back on and it stays on for another 24ish hours before she works it off again. She's not actively trying to work it off. I think it's because I don't put the velcro as tight as it can go because I don't want it too tight on her neck. I'd rather have to pop it back on once a day and have it be comfortable.
Great Post-Surgery Collar
I have a 15 lb Mini Schnauzer and her neck size is 10" which is just the cutoff between small and medium. The Medium ended up being perfect. So much better than the cone collars. Comfortable, keeps dog from bumping into everything and away from stitches on stomach.
It works!
I am using this instead of a cone to keep my elderly dog from chewing his diapers off when left unattended. It works! But it didnt keep him from shredding the pee pads I had down on the floor! He likes it way better than the cone, he can see and its more comfortable.
Almost works
I was hopeful this product would protect and keep my GSD from licking his multiple sutures. But the pillow is not quite big enough to keep him from reaching around it. He did however, find it more comfortable than the giant cone of shame. This product is not sufficient for large dog breeds. It only works as a deterrent for well trained pets. I found myself switching back to the giant cone frequently.
