Provide your rabbit, guinea pig or chinchilla with a large quantity of hay each day. Smaller species such as hamsters or gerbils may be given a small handful of hay once a week for nesting or enrichment. Hay should be given in addition to a primary animal diet such as carefresh® complete. Make sure your pet always has plenty of clean, fresh water to drink.
When changing diets, it is best to mix old and new diet, changing over the course of 7 - 10 days.

My buns and I absolutely love this hay and it is the perfect amount for a great price! I am dying for Chewy to bring this back!
Te amo so dry and hard. Gives you splinters if not careful. My guineas won’t touch eat it.
I bought this for my roommate's pet rabbit, and the was just over the moon with the quality of the hay. There was some Brown bits but a good 95% was lush green. Her rabbit loves it. She can't stop saying how much she preferred this over the store bought which is often mostly brown and hard.
This has to be the only Hay that I can never get out of the bag. It actually sliced my hand open. The rabbit seems to like it but it’s such a hassle so I will pay a little more for the other brands to keep my fingers intact.
Wow! This hay is so fresh & very firm . Great for the bunnies' teeth . Compared to the oxbow batch that I bought, this one's better
Good hay for a good price but there's so much dust i guess and it's packed so tightly that it's hard to get it out
I don't like leaving bad reviews, sorry! The actual straw was huge, but it's cut into small pieces and was loaded with powder. And on top of that, the bag was very raggedy and had a big hole in the bottom and the powder leaked out all over everything! Also, my piggy wouldn't eat it for some reason! :-(
Nice hay my guinea pigs love it. I switched to this one to try it out and we are satisfied.
We usually buy this brand of hay for my guinea pigs. This bag was mostly brown and very very dry. My pigs wouldn't eat it. Chewy kindly sent a replacement bag, but still much was brown. Not as dry as the previous bag. Probably won't buy again.
The hay is broken down a lot. There is so much grainy material throughout the bag that it is waste. I am throwing away so much.
