choking / blocking hazard

my cat was obsessed with this toy but within an hour had chewed the end to pieces and ate at least part of it. this is a choking hazard and a huge risk of intestinal

my cat was obsessed with this toy but within an hour had chewed the end to pieces and ate at least part of it. this is a choking hazard and a huge risk of intestinal blockage if your cat is a destructive chewer like mine. but it usually takes him a lottttt longer (weeks) to get a toy to the point of falling apart like this one did, and he has never eaten more than a couple feathers off toys before

I was surprised at how thick it was; then I was surprised at how it could become a weapon in the hands of a 5 year old. Only one of my cats, I have seven, one started playing with the end if I wiggled it. They all ran when the 5 year old picked it up- and she wanted to play with them but they were afraid.

My cats love to play. They are 10 and 11 years old. This has helped me get them back into playing like kittens again. I have one cat who brings me the toy when she wants to play. She will play for 20 minutes at a time, if I don’t tire out. It is holding up well with play. They love it. I would buy this again.

My cat chewed through this within a few days. I never found the end of it so it may have been swallowed. I may have to go to the vet.
