This cat teaser/wand and attachments are amazing. My 5-year-old cat demands that I get it out of the drawer every evening to play! The concept intrigued me, and I could not be happier. My cat gets a lot of exercise and excitement over this toy. The wand is heavy-duty and telescopes in and out, allowing it to be short and compact for storage (the string winds around the wand with grooves for it to fit perfectly each time). The attachments are just what a cat wants, from crinkly to feathers to a squirrel with all the bells and whistles to engage their predatory nature. It's genius how the cat can catch the prey and take off with it while the wand stays with me; strong magnets hold the prey onto the string, but kitty can take it off, too. Even the magnet on the end of the string - all by itself - captivates my cat. It's about the size of a bug, and my cat even likes to play with it. Great product!

I've had several fishing pole toys over the years and this is the best. I love that I can attach different types of toys to the end. The magnet is strong enough to be a challenge for her, but not so difficult she gives up. The telescoping wand works great and is so helpful, and it even has a little clip so you can store this better.

Our cats love this one!

The first time one of our cats was able to pull the toy free, he was so surprised he did not move for about a minute. Then he decided this toy was HIS and growled

The first time one of our cats was able to pull the toy free, he was so surprised he did not move for about a minute. Then he decided this toy was HIS and growled at anyone else who came near! All of our cats have now figured out that they can actually catch this toy and run with it so we use the extra attachments we purchased as well and switch them out because they won't give up their prey until a new one catches their interest. The wand is sturdy and stores easily and the cord is thick and has withstood teeth pulling on it. The toy gets stored away when not in use though because I'm sure a determined cat could chew through the cord given time. Also I'd be concerned if one chewed through the short tie attaching the magnet to each toy because the magnets are small enough that they could be swallowed. I am also looking at a way to shorten the cord because the wand is long enough that a shorter cord would mean more control in where to aim the toy, or to aim the cord to recapture a toy with the magnet. The biggest downside is that our cats have several other wand toys that they previously loved to chase but now mostly ignore, waiting for this one!

I have a mighty hunter at home and I noticed he always seems to want to take the toy with him when he catches it on traditional pole type cat toys. Well this thing is seriously genius! He is absolutely thrilled that he can attack and then actually catch his prey. I really recommend the separate attachments they sell.

Easy to change attachments

I like the design allowing cats to catch the prey. I also add more than one attachment so when more than one cat chases this if one catches the feathers the next

I like the design allowing cats to catch the prey. I also add more than one attachment so when more than one cat chases this if one catches the feathers the next cat can still chase and catch the crinkle ball. Only thing you have to be careful of is the magnets catching hold of metal things in your house. Also fun to hang toys from metal objects like your fridge.

My cats completely ignore it

I thought this would work for my too hunters. They will not play with it at all. They like the feather attached to the string, not this where they can grab the prey

Baby’s favorite toy

My cat loved her regular wand toy so much but would always want to drag it off somewhere- so i tried to find one that let the cat “catch” the prey. This toy is perfect-

My cat loved her regular wand toy so much but would always want to drag it off somewhere- so i tried to find one that let the cat “catch” the prey. This toy is perfect- she has never been more excited and playful. I play with her every day; she just loves catching things. I recently bought the extra attachments and they are well worth the money, the big worm is her favorite. I will say the feather lures do break/pull out easy, but the magnets all have little clips, so are reusable with any lure or light toy you have (i can put on any feather and turn to a lure when the old ones break). Thank you Cat Amazing for a sturdy, reusable toy and extra fun attachments so my kitty is never bored!
