Can these be used in the microwave?

This bowl is made of melamine. Melamine is a very safe material, and it is widely used for outdoors and kids tableware. But in general, melamine should not be microwaved, because when exposed to high temperatures the chemicals from melamine may get transferred to food. That mainly concerns humans, who eat large portions and enjoy hot meals. As for cats, you will probably need to heat up their food only for a few seconds, in which case the bowl will not get hot. Please use your discretion, depending on how often and how much you need to microwave it.

Perfect to Combat Whisker Fatigue, Just Tricky to Pick Up and Handle

When filled with food, there are basically no sides to this bowl, making it easy for my furbabies to access their food. The ridges keep the food from sliding around

When filled with food, there are basically no sides to this bowl, making it easy for my furbabies to access their food. The ridges keep the food from sliding around while they're eating. I would have given these 5 stars, but I didn't like that there is only one place on the bowl to pick it up (one groove at the bottom edge of the bowl). And, because the sides are curved, you can't hold but one bowl in your hand at a time. I feed sometimes up to 6 cats (outdoor strays), and I'm used to loading up as many bowls as I can to set them outside. For regular bowls, I can carry 4, 2 in each hand. For these, only 1 per hand, but one hand has to get the door. Very frustrating, which is a shame. The cats LOVE these!

The design of the bowl is great. Instesd of Toby eating fast, it has slowed down eating habit and he rarely vomits. He is a happy cat with a full belly.

i didnt like that these didnt come with the stands they were pictured with!

These are great!
