I barely got this out of the package, and both of my girls were trying to figure out what it was and how to make it theirs! Once I got it open and the center pad in place, it was game on! We've had it for about 2 weeks, and they still play in it and nap in it and on the pad. We normally cycle their toys, but this one might be on a more permanent rotation.
My cats were instantly interested when I unpacked this, an improvement over the box it came in, and played with it for a while. They like the little cushion it came with. I can see them getting bored with it, but it stores small.
This item is very well made, but my nervous cat was not a fan. He has always loved all of his crinkly tunnels so I didn't think anything about getting him this one. I think he didn't like it due to the curve or the fact this is a really thick fabric (darker and more constricting than his other tunnels). He may not have liked the tunnel but he claimed that little fuzzy circle as his new bed. :)
Cat tunnel is well made, sturdy and easy to assemble although the directions are not really very good on package. I have not yet met the kittens but have seen videos of them playing in it and they love it. The bed is thin but soft with a bit of cushion. I meet Kitts tomorrow! Time to be a cat mom again. Decided to replicate what they know and like to help them adjust to a new home.
Thankfully I bought two tunnels. They arrived today. Before I could get them both opened, my cats we’re running in and out. They love them! They’ve spent most of the afternoon snoozing in their own separate tunnel.
It’s so lightweight it flips on its end a makes it useless. I’ve taken to clipping it my rug with binder clips to prevent that from happening.
I was worried my cats wouldnt take to the tunnel since most of the reviews were for kittens. My adult rescued cats were playing in it before I could even get the bed attached. The tunnel is well made and quiet. One cat loves to lounge in it and the other one loves to jump on the tunnel to play. Will buy again and am eagerly awaiting them to be back in stock.
He batted the ball once, standing outside the tunnel. I think maybe this toy is best for 2 cats, playing together. My cat had no interest in it.
I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it's small, the window being on the "back" of the tunnel didn't offer any view of playing kittens. The bed that comes with it has no cushion to it.
Our cat loves playing the tunnel and we love that it's not a loud crinkly fabric so it's not too noisy when she's playing in it. The set up was very easy and it's convenient to have the option to fold it up for storage if it needs to be put away.
