My cat was excited about the toy even before the box was opened. She has the tower version of the toy and plays with it every day. But the figure 8 version really

My cat was excited about the toy even before the box was opened. She has the tower version of the toy and plays with it every day. But the figure 8 version really gets her going. It’s noisier than the tower version so it gets put up at night. My cat isn’t a climber, but she climbs up the credenza to get to the toy, even if it’s covered. She forcefully smacks the balls and the toy has held up. A 100% successful toy. Her toy approval rate is about. 30%

I think this is a quality issue, not a shipping issue. When we opened it, the light up ball had an inner casing holding the light and the battery. This casing was

This casing was still in the ball but the light and battery (a choking hazard) had totally fallen out. Our cat still likes it but something to watch for!
