Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

This is my dogs favorite Chuckit Ball!
By PackMom on Dec 4, 2020
I have a dog who loves to play Chuckit. The Erratic Ball is by far her favorite. I have thrown the other Chuckit type balls and she will ignore & not fetch the other balls. Not sure if it is the erratic nature of the bounce that entices the play or the tactile effect in her mouth when she retrieves the ball. I have ordered extras of this ball to keep her active & happy. Make time to play with your fur babies!

Not incredibly erratic, but my dogs love them
By Stacey on Jan 11, 2021
These balls seem to fly in a pretty straight line for me, but my dogs still love them. They fit in the M Chuckit!s, though not as easy as the regular shaped balls. Maybe for shorter tosses, they have an erratic bounce, but they still work for a game of fetch.

Okay for small dogs
By Pittiemama on Jan 3, 2021
I purchased this hoping it would last with my power cheeer pitties. They love interactive toys and trying to get treats out. But, it lasted only 2 days of intermittent chewing before I had to toss it. Not recommended for power or aggressive chewers.

Great ball but...
By koda on Jan 13, 2021
These balls are on one the few toys my pitbull won't destroy instantly the only flaw is they don't sell a extra lage version. If they had a XL size i would give it 5 stars!

Fun Toy for your active pup
By Lainy19 on Nov 4, 2020
My boy loves these. One thing I didn't know is that they whistle when you give them a hard throw. Added bonus! They bounce everywhere so your dog goes crazy keeping track of it. Good for an active pup for sure.

Fun but not for outdoor play
By Ithamore on Dec 27, 2020
Only because it's the SAME COLOR as grass and is nearly impossible to find. Very durable for my very tough chewers, German Sheps, and they love chasing it!

Not Erratic Enough in my Opinion
By ChuckItErraticBalls2 on Sep 5, 2020
Trying to get my dog to play fetch, and she doesn't "love" any kind of ball yet so part of this is on me, but my dog has a strong prey drive so was hoping the erratic nature of this ball's bounce would keep her interested. Personally I don't see it bounce very much at all, much less erratic. This toy seems only good as a chew toy, but there are things that are designed specially for that.

My active German Shepherd LOVES it!
By Laika on Sep 21, 2020
I have a german shepherd who is absolutely ball crazy. This particular ball used to come in XL size which was the one he fell in love with. It's been abused through heavy fetch use and he just loves to squeeze/chew it in his mouth and it was starting to split... when we realized we could only get him a replacement Large size. It's definitely smaller than the XL but I think he loves the Large better than the XL.

Easier on the human tosser...
By Vorki on Jul 29, 2020
...because the ball jumps around on its own, you do not have to put a lot of energy into the throw. You can use it in a small space indoors and throw it gently and still provide a chase. Also, my dog is a toy destroyer but for some reason, he doesn't destroy this one. Maybe the flexibility of the hollow center makes it less fun to chew on? Also, because it is rubber-like, it does not retain the drool like cloth toys do.

Not so erratic
By Sally on Dec 11, 2020
These oddly shaped balls bounce like any other ball. I wasn’t impressed.
