I had high hopes that my cat would just eat this compounded certain, but I still have to use the pill popper. It's a little easier to give successfully than the capsule form, because it's smaller and starts dissolving quickly so harder to spit out (though if they're able to spit out, it disintegrates so you waste a pill). My cat can't consume protein that is not hydrolyzed, so I appreciated that the Chewy pharmacist confirmed there are no animal proteins in their formula when I contacted them. The cisapride capsules from my vet cost almost 9x as much per pill, so Chewy is a great option.

Changed my cats' life!

This medicine is so so so much cheaper than what my cats prescription powder version was. Its easy for her to eat and it helps her to digest my food without vomiting

This medicine is so so so much cheaper than what my cats prescription powder version was. Its easy for her to eat and it helps her to digest my food without vomiting. This combined with her vet prescribed rabbit protein food and she is not sick anymore. Shes a happy kitty!

A little too dry

I bought these to replace the $$$$ pills that my vet had. These don’t have a coating so my small cat was having an issue swallowing them. I had to dose syringe water

This has made my life so much easier, than trying to give liquid to my cat. I take a feline chicken flavor pill pocket, split in two and roll one half around the pill into a ball and either roll it to my cat or just place it in front of her. So far she'll eat it up and then I roll the other half in a ball and give it to her right away.

Chicken flavored is nonessential

I've never administered a "compounded" flavored medicine that any cat or dog has eaten or taken without being tricked (inside a pill pocket) or essentially forced to take...and I've administered a lot over several dogs and six cats. It was this way with this Cisapride and Gigi--out with the pill-popper.

A bit too large and not scored; crumble if you try to cut them

I have a cat who has been on a small dose of Cisapride for about 7.5 years now. We've used other vet pharmacies in the past due to their affiliation with vet clinics. I love Chewy and was happy to order this through them when I switched vet practices. I'm used to splitting 5 mg mini tab pills in half so my cat gets 2.5 mg in the AM and 2.5 mg in the PM. Unfortunately, Chewy's compounded tablets cannot be effectively split in half; they crumble. I contacted Chewy's ever-excellent customer support for help, and they facilitated getting me a new prescription of 2.5 mg tablets. However, my cat is tiny, and while she is a very good patient (especially when it comes to pilling a cat!), the tablets are larger than she is used to. This has resulted in more pills being spit out/wasted.
