My pup got cataract surgery, and afterwards her left eye pressure has gone as high as in the 90s. We had to get fluid extracted from her eye a couple of times. I was getting real concerned with the possibility that we might have to remove her eye if we can't control the pressure. Thank-goodness, her ophthalmologist prescribed Lola this Demecarium Bromide compounded eye drop. It works! Fortunately, I got 2 bottles, because it looks like Chewy stopped selling this. I'll have to go to another pharmacy to get this med now.

We need this and it’s discontinued!

This is the cheapest we have found this. My dog only has one eye due to glaucoma and now this is discontinued on Chewy. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!

When the less expensive option doesn’t work

Helping with my 5 year old dog’s secondary glaucoma-detached lenses was is diagnosis. It hasn’t “controlled” the pressure’s enough to claim it’s a miracle cure but has kept me from having his eyes removed. Highly recommend if you want to try medication route before surgery. We’ve been using this and 2 other drops since April 2025; eye sight has been slowly diminishing but he’s happy and still gets to be a 5 year old dog!

I had to call Chewy for a refill because my standard poodle found and destroyed the bottle. The medications used to control eye pressure from glaucoma which is quite painful if not managed. I was able to call them and had a new Bottle via FedEx priority overnight so he missed one dose - not ideal but far better than i was expecting.

Glaucoma held in check
