For adult dogs over 100 pounds, add approximately ⅓ cup for every 10 additional pounds. For pregnant or nursing adult dogs, we recommend free-choice feeding. Adjust amount offered daily as needed to maintain ideal body condition. This feeding guide provides a starting point for the amount of food to give your dog each day. We recommend that you keep your dog in ideal body condition and not allow them to become overweight. The amount of food your dog needs can vary based on age, activity level or other food and treats given, so be sure to work with your veterinarian to determine an appropriate weight for your dog, and to make any necessary adjustments to their feeding.
Remember to keep plenty of fresh water available to your pet at all times.
When transitioning your pet to a new food, we recommend a gradual introduction of the new formula over a 7 day period. For pets with sensitivities, extend the transition period to 10 to 14 days. Start by adding a small amount of your pet’s new food to his or her current food. Gradually, increase the new food amount and decrease the current food amount at each feeding until you are feeding only the new food.

My dog has been on Orijean dry food for quite a long time because my older Golden had food allergies, and that was the only food that agreed with him. We recently lost him to brain cancer, and because the origin was $100 a bag, and my young Golden does not have food allergies, I decided to try something more reasonably priced. I can’t believe people are complaining about the price of this food. It’s so reasonably priced. The origin was $99 for a 15 or 20 pound bag. And I’ve also been through Hills, and many of the other premium foods, through the years, all priced considerably higher than this. I tried this food, primarily because of the ingredients. This s food has so many vitamins, nutrients, fruit, and vegetables. I can’t believe people are complaining because they chose not to read the ingredients before buying it, or because at this price point, there’s some dust at the bottom of the bag. My dog loves it so far, no ill effects, she’s doing great, and I just can’t believe how reasonably priced it is for a high quality food.
Several months ago my young lab would not longer eat this food. The 1st shipment was my fault for not cancelling. No I received another auto ship bag. I have altered my auto ship items but you can not delete and auto shipment once it is created. You can change items and delay the shipment but you can not delete or remove it. So you have to remember to go in before the shipment and change the date you want the order shipped. If I am missing where to delete to whole order I apologize I have looked several times. I will purchase locally because Chewy does not carry the brand she currently eats. I will also have to go in every couple months to change the date. I just tried deleting all item in the auto ship cart and you can delete all except for the last item. So how do you get out of the circle? Another bag of food my dog does not like.
My dogs coat was fine prior to purchasing and feeding him this dog food brand. After a couple a weeks I noticed he had developed very dry flaky skin which is a sign that his nutritional needs are not being met. I switched to a different brand and noticed significant improvements with his skin and coat. I would not recommend this dog food.
I bought this food for my Mastiff, Scooby. He hates it. Refuses to eat it. A little tempted to eat it with gravy, but still spit most of it out, on to the floor. He has had really bad gas and his stool looks different too, so maybe the food doesn't agree with him, but he hated it from the get-go, so I am donating it Hopefully their dogs love it and have no issues. Smells weird too. Had small shreds of card board inside the food as well, but big enough for me too see and take out. I did not have any dog food dust - My food bag didn't have an excess of dust or anything.
Our dogs love this food, like are excited to eat, before we switched to this food, our dog was a grazer, and now he tries to break into where we store the food. I can also report his skin and coat are great and he’s got healthy, consistent poops. We’ve tried all the flavors and the dogs like them all, but we like lamb and chicken simply due to kibble size. the beef kibble size is much larger
My heeler started itching this summer and I was told to switch dog food ( slowly) to something he never had before. I chose the Diamond brand because of its reputation and ingredients. After a few short weeks, the itching stopped. Food portions ( cups) were cut in 1/2 based on what he was leaving behind ( full better and longer) We are 3 months into the changeover and everything seems well. I choose Chewy for delivery based on price and convenience.
So my Pitbull is such a pickey eater. After finally finding a food she likes there happened to be a recall on it and I moved to this one. The food is smaller bites and she LOVES it. Plus it’s cheaper than the other one I was buying, which is always a plus.
I went through TONS of different brands with my last Lab.. from cheap to the extreme (from Vet). Once I was told about this food, I never changed again. My Boy was about 7… lost him at 14. Our new boy started with the puppy kind about one year ago, loving it and now we are onto the Adult. He eats it with no problems and is healthy!
I have a very picky Frenchie who will not eat anything. Tried Victors, Hill and seems like she will just sniff and walk away. As soon as I got this bag she completely finished her whole plate. I didn’t even need to add toppers or anything additional! I love this!
Makes my dog absurdly gassy. I only use lamb & rice when the beef & rice is out of stock. Glad Chewy has this option because it's so similar to our normal food, but would really prefer they work with the manu to ensure the beef & rice is out of stock less often.
