Te neutral color matches most decor, and the rounded corners won't collect dirt and debris. The fact that the mat is flat and not textured is a bonus since designs from previous mats have been harder to clean. It's also dishwasher safe, which is a huge bonus. The small is a great size for two bowls of wet cat food. It stays in place well. I'm also happy to learn I'm supporting a small business. Very pleased with my purchase!

Our floor space is limited, so it’s nice to have a mat that is small enough to easily move from counter to floor, keeping both clean at mealtime. Also, our cat is cross-eyed, and likes to pull on her water bowl, which makes the water move so she can see the depth of it. The mat helps keep the bowl in place and water off of the floor.
