DIY Holiday Wreath Materials
- Styrofoam wreath
- Pine rope garland
- Several stems of wired artificial holiday flowers
- Metal paperclips
- Holiday ornaments
Optional Materials
- Holiday lights
- Hot glue gun
- Hot glue sticks
Steps
- Straighten out the small side of a handful of metal paperclips.
- Wrap the larger curled side of one paperclip around one end of the pine rope garland and twist to secure it.
- Stick the straight end of the same paperclip wire into the styrofoam wreath.
- Wrap the pine rope garland around the styrofoam wreath, securing it with paperclips every few inches.
- Straighten out the wired ends of the artificial holiday flowers.
- Spread the artificial flowers out around the wreath, and insert each wire straight in, piercing the foam.
- On the other side of the ring, bend the wires back towards the styrofoam to secure each in place.
- Follow these same steps to add ornaments to the wreath by attaching paperclips through the ornament loops and then sticking the ends into the styrofaom.
Optional Steps
- Hot glue each of the ornaments and artificial plants in place for extra security.
- Wrap holiday lights around the wreath by weaving them around the ring. Secure them with paperclips.
