It snapped
This worked well the first few months we had it and spared his sensitive neck from the prongs being so directly on his skin. His skin had a raw spot from the regular prongs and when we switched to this attachment his skin got a lot better and he was more comfortable. One day it somehow snapped which was odd and now we have to take it off so it doesn't hurt him which defeats the purpose.
Works but broke 5 months later
It worked for my Samoyed after using a electric razor to shave a spot on his neck because the points would only work occasionally when i parted his hair. one point broke off after 5 months. I had to repurchase it. My two year old Samoyed is high energy. After 5 months, he still pulls and lunges after other dogs. This tells me i need to be more vigilant with the educator. I refuse to spend $2,500 on a modification trainer when I have access to the same tools on chewy.com

I was a little annoyed with this at first, but after a few hours of wearing it, I don't really care anymore. It's easily able to penetrate my thick double coat. My owner seems happy with it as well!
Lifesaver for my Rough Collies
I have two Rough Collies and standard contact points can't make in through their dense fur without tightening the collar so much you feel like you're choking them. Now their collars don't need to be as tight while still making contact for a solid correction. They were easy to install, haven't stained their fur, and are comfortable for all day wear. If you have a dog with long hair or thick fur, you need this!!
If your dog has white fur I wouldn't get these.
I have two Australian Shepherds with white chest fur and both of their chests turned reddish after wearing these comfort pads for a while. It turns out that the nuts used to attach these to the receiver were rusting and the rust was coloring the fur on my dogs. While they worked, I have switched back to the points that came with the collars and just trimmed a little fur in the area which seems to do the trick. (The pictures don't even do the staining justice because it's covered up by the extra fluff my boys have!).
Great for Longer coated dogs
I have a GSD mix and even with the longer connectors it was 50/50 if they touched her skin unless I had the collar tight. Just what I was looking for, I probably could have purchased the Small/Medium size but the Large works fine for me. I needed the tool the mini educator came with to install this onto the device.
Doesn’t work.
Does NOT work on my 2 huskies. They went right through my fence without a care in the world.
Exactly What I Needed!
Chewy doesn’t specify it but these comfort pads do fit the RX-120 models and work with ET-800 remotes. The E-Collar Technologies website does specify that this model works so Chewy may want to update their product descriptions. This product works beautifully. I use it on my Alaskan Husky mutt with her dense, thick fur. The comfort wings help reach and make contact so I no longer have to use long contact points and worry about them tipping, sliding or not making contact. 10/10 would recommend for anyone with a husky, shepherd, or other similarly dense/long furred breeds.
