This medication is particularly useful in the treatment of acute and chronic otitis of varied causes, in pets with lesions located on their paws, and in anal gland infections. The preparation is also indicated in the management of dermatologic disorders characterized by inflammation and dry or discharge dermatitis, particularly those caused, complicated or threatened by bacterial or candidal (Candida albicans) infections. It is also of value in other types of dermatitis and as an adjunct in the treatment of dermatitis due to parasitic infestation.
Please contact your veterinarian if the following adverse reactions occur: excessive thirst/excessive dilute urine, vomiting, diarrhea (occasionally bloody) or hearing loss. However, regression of hearing usually occurred following withdrawal of the drug. If hearing dysfunction is noted during treatment, discontinue its use. Cushing’s syndrome has been reported in association with prolonged or repeated steroid therapy in dogs.
Talk to your veterinarian about any other drugs your dog is taking before starting this medication.
In case of allergic reaction, administer epinephrine. In case of human exposure, contact a physician. Do not use in pets who are allergic to the active ingredients in this medication. This is a topical medication—not to be given by mouth. Do not use if your pet’s ear drum is ruptured, if she has deep skin infections, is pregnant or lactating. Wear gloves if you are pregnant.

Always follow your veterinarian's exact instructions regarding the amount and frequency of use for EnteDerm.
Be sure to wash your hands before and after each application. Wear gloves if your pet has a contagious condition or if you are pregnant.
The hair around the skin lesion or ears may need to be clipped in order to ensure proper application. If your pet's ears are dirty, clean ears with a non-irritating ear cleanser and dry prior to instilling EnteDerm and massage ears to distribute medication evenly.
Call your veterinarian if you have questions about how to use EnteDerm correctly.
The combination of active ingredients work to treat bacterial (Thiostrepton/Neomycin) and yeast infections (Nystatin) on the skin and in the ear(s). Triamcinolone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and helps your pet to feel better.
EnteDerm treats acute and chronic ear infections (otitis) as well as superficial skin infections, interdigital cysts, and anal gland infections. Your pet should feel better and symptoms should resolve when EnteDerm is used as directed.
My Boston terrier has an autoimmune disease called erythema multiforme. This disease will cause sores all over her body. She recently had a flare up and even the medication she’s prescribed along with the medicated shampoo didn’t help. I purchased this ointment as a last resort because it was used previously during her treatment (which I had totally forgot about). After using it once a day on her sores after a few weeks, on of the sores is completely gone and the other sore is almost finished healing. This ointment has really helped her out and I will make sure to always have it on hand.
This is an excellent cream my Vet recommended. Worked very well on my cat and its expiration date was 2 years more. The Vet sells this cream for almost 10 times what I was able to purchase it here on Chewy. Thank you Chewy!
This works. If you have a dog with chronic ear infections, this will handle it.
This is a prescription medication that would heal Coco's abscesses
The container for this product was much easier to use than the one provided by the Veterinarian.
My vet first prescribed this as I noticed my older cat had a bald spot that was growing larger. He said it was dermatitis and prescribed this ointment. Within 3 days it was gone, but at times does reappear. The hair starts to grow back. But he's 13 and we live in the desert so dry conditions do not help. I noticed it was available on Chewy and refilled it as the tube is a metal tube and split in the middle after using it for awhile. Best to squeeze from the bottom and store in a small zip lock bag. Amazing ointment.
Bella my 14 year old shihtzu I use this every 4 days on her eyes It works
Very pleased with the ointment. It was first prescribed by our Vet. Chewy sells it for much less and sent it out quickly.
Have been using this product for the past few years on my pit boxer on his belly when he gets a rash. Within a couple days it starts to go away after applying it
Entederm works well on my cat's rash. It resolves the issue within just a few days.
