The large chunks of beef were a great hit with picky eater German Shepard. Sometimes I cook for her. However with this great product I cook less for her. The juices in the can are great. She drinks it first. Will buy it again.
My 2 GSD's love it!

This stuff looks good enough for us to eat. The dogs love it and I feel like I'm giving them something "real". Yeah, every so often there are so big fat chucks that you have to deal with but it's not bad.
Hunk a Hunk a costly beef an fat

First few cases I loved this food lately I am getting 1/3 of the can with white globs of fat I skim off
Too pricey to continue purchasing 1/3 of can at $4 bucks a can that I cant give to my pups

I add this to other Evanger's wet food and my three really enjoy the added flavor.

My doggies really enjoy this beef. It has a hunk of beef in the can w some juices they really love. But a hunk of beef? I was surprised. But only the best 4 my fur kids! Definition recommend. I recommend all evangers canned food. We split a can between 2 dogs w some dry and they love their meals.

This is an amazing dog food. It is, in fact, hunks of beef. I’ve seen no issue with shorted cans as has been reported. I’m going to order the chicken thighs next. My Akbash loves the beef hunks!!

I've been buying this for my 12 year old, 60 lb boxer lab mix for over eight years. The last year I've seen a significant decline in the beef. Last few cases the cans have been mostly fat and there were black specs in the meat that I was told sometimes happens during processing. I won't be buying it anymore.
Now Featuring Crushed Cans!?!
on Jan 31, 2021
My Dad says if we’re paying $4 a can, we should be able to crush the cans ourselves. My Mom says now that we complained, they’re going to send us even worse-crushed cans, like with that other hilly brand. I think they’re both crazy because I love these fresh beef hunks so much I don’t care. Unless I get sick from bacteria thru holes in crushed cans.
Love at first bite

This stuff looks god awful. But it is the only thing my dog eats. I mix it with a little bit of kibble so he gets some crunching and he’s a happy boy. And it’s kosher for Passover
