    Works well, use your brain

By Chris on Feb 10, 2021

First of all, these are a cheap price. A lot of reviews mentioned the were too tight and hard to remove. When I first put them on, they were very tight, not going to lie, but to some, that's a big positive. I wanted slightly easier access, so I just bent the metal clips slightly and they're a lot easier to remove. I have 2 on either end of a 20 long and I can still grab the lid in the middle, front and back, and lift up the whole terrarium without a gap in the middle. Your snake or whatever, will not be able to escape. I honestly don't know why people post reviews with problems, just bend them a little and use a screwdriver to pry if you need to? If you can't get it off within a minute right First of all, these are a cheap price. A lot of reviews mentioned the were too tight and hard to remove. Rescue with 200 plus animals

By Kayla on Jan 31, 2021

My mom and I used to run a reptile rescue in which we had 200 plus animals in our care. The majority of which had to have these clips on their cage. I have never had a problem getting them on or off of the cages. I have read a lot of reviews saying they can't get them off and I don't know if it's because I've had a lot of practice or they just don't know what they're doing. I find it funny sorry not sorry LOL

    Locks for your escape artist

By Turtlehobbist on Dec 21, 2020

Secure your escape artist. Before I used these my african sideneck turtle (Jewels) would escape and be under the couch. Work excellent!

    Garbage, don’t bother

By Mumm on Aug 4, 2020

These are a different design than the style sold 20 years ago that kinda worked but the stationary section would annoyingly fall off the tank when the screen was removed . This new design is really easy to install but stupidly hard to remove when you need to open the cage. If completely on I was afraid I was going to break the cage when I needed to open it again. Not to mention I needed a screwdriver or knife to open. If mostly on, would scratch up my screens then either fall off if bumped or lock into place. Don’t bother, I just put a gallon of water or rock on top instead.

Does what it's meant to but...

    By 9TL9 on Aug 12, 2020

The screen clips do what they're meant to, but I'm giving 4 stars because they are a bit difficult to get off.

    Cheap and hardly lock

By gill on Jul 24, 2020

Fall off easily. Do not secure lid on tank at all. Loud when taking off

    It does its job!

By Celia on Apr 22, 2020

These lid locks work perfect. They keep my tarantulas lid locked and very easy to take on and off.
