Works really well for my juvenile crested gecko tank. It keeps the warmer side around 80 and the cooler side around 70 so she has a choose to regulate her own temp. I only wish it had UVB too.

It's better than nothing, but this light is very low-heat. You cannot feel any warmth at all if the light is more than 5 inches away from your hand. Meaning, this

It's better than nothing, but this light is very low-heat. You cannot feel any warmth at all if the light is more than 5 inches away from your hand. Meaning, this light will only work if you have an EXTREMELY shallow tank. And by extremely shallow, I mean like, tupperware shallow. If you're worried about keeping your tank warm, get a higher watt light. This one is very not-warm.
