Why is there no zip/velcro lock? What is the best storage method for optimal freshness?

Farmina recommends making sure the food is consumed within 4 to 6 weeks of opening the bag. They also recommend rolling the bag up and sealing with a clip (and cutting it down as it gets lower) and/or in an airtight container to minimize oxidation. Best to be stored in a dry cool place. You may freeze it, but there are no benefits or hindrances from doing do.

Koa LOVES this!

This is the first dry dog food that Koa will eat by itself and she actually enjoys it! 2 paws up from Koa!

She loves it!

My Maltese has always been very fussy, I have been cooking for her so she would eat. Now I don’t have to, she loves Farmina and it is healthy for her.

Only food Angel has no problem with

I highly recommend Farmina, its the only food my dog would eat willingly and has no problem with. After going through tens of different dog brands, there are only 2 brands of food that my picky cavie girl would eat. The other brand was recommended by my breeder, but Angel was gassy, had loose stools, gained weight, and anal gland filling up too quickly. Now with Farmina, firm stool with no gas, better digestion, no more anal gland problems, and she is actually losing weight slowly with exercise and super happy with it. Angé used to eat reluctantly but now she’s eager for her breakfast and dinner time making it so much less stressful for both of us. Highly recommend the food and I’ll be transitioning to regular farmina ancestral grain once she reaches her optimal weight

Don't Like at All

My 5 year old mixed Chihauhau will not eat this food. I have mixed it with all of her favorites and she still won't eat it. She needed to lose a few pounds and this definitely did the trick. I love buying from Chewy and will continue to do so minus this brand. Sorry.

Best food available

My dogs have eaten Farmina for years. One of the best brands available now. Currently using the Light for one dog who needs to drop a few pounds, as by the way minimum fat is 11%.
