Alleged allergy support

My cat is still very itchy and this is all she's eating. Unfortunately this is what the veterinarians recommend across the board. It's highly processed and none

My cat is still very itchy and this is all she's eating. Unfortunately this is what the veterinarians recommend across the board. It's highly processed and none of the ingredients seem to be pesticide free or organic which is a real disappointment in the Pet food industry. Who knows what level of quality of ingredients she's eating and it's not helping. I wish cats had more options for allergies, like dogs do. It's truly unfair that research only goes to where the big pharma money is. Canines usually have more available than felines. It's cruel.

She Likes It

My kitty has IBS so she is on a restricted diet. She is allergic to beef and poultry and does not like venison etc. The Farmina Vet Life pork satisfies her meat

No matter how hungry he was, cat wouldn’t eat it

The texture and smell of the was unappealing. We were following vet orders to help calm down his GI tract but cat stuck with the dry food

Excellent Food Inconsistent Formulation

My cat has a granuloma on her tongue and I was trying to avoid putting her on medication. I was excited to try the Derma as most of the prescription food if full

My cat has a granuloma on her tongue and I was trying to avoid putting her on medication. I was excited to try the Derma as most of the prescription food if full of fillers and by products. At first, my cat loved the food, but after a couple of orders, the food became wildly inconsistent. One case would be hard and dry, the next would be overly saucy and color would swing from light brown to dark brown. Given the cost of the food, I can no longer justify ordering it. Chewy's customer service has been great and did credit my account for the worst of 1 order but when I contacted the company, their reply was that there is no impact to the quality of the food. That may be true but cats are super finicky and my cat quickly developed digestive upset and refused to eat the food.

My I.M. vet recommended this r/x food for my cat. She likes the food!

It is great to find an r/x food she likes. Talk to your veterinarian about the benefits of this food. So far, so good!

Disappointed in food form. Do not buy

Vet recommended pork diet for my cat with IBD. Ordered Farmina VetLife pork pate. 1st case was fine & cat loved it. On my next order of 4 cases some of the cans

Vet recommended pork diet for my cat with IBD. Ordered Farmina VetLife pork pate. 1st case was fine & cat loved it. On my next order of 4 cases some of the cans were pate and some were like a “brown soup”. Contacted Chewy & they graciously replaced 3 cases. Half of the replacements were also brown and soupy (all had same batch number). I contacted Farmina and they assured me the food was fine and this was a result of their steam cooking process. My cat throws up this soupy version. I had to throw out half of the cans. Farmina definitely has some quality control issues. Do not recommend this food and will not purchase again. I attached pics of 2 cans from the same case.
