Instructions

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Shake well before using. To protect horses from horse flies, house flies, stable flies, face flies, horn flies, deer flies, gnats, mosquitoes, lice, ticks, and deer ticks that may transmit Lyme Disease: Thoroughly brush the horse's coat prior to application to remove loose dirt and debris. For dirty horses, shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Wait until coat is completely dry before applying Endure Sweat-Resistant Fly Spray for Horses. Its unique water-resistant formula contains a special conditioner that binds to the hair shaft so it keeps working even in moist conditions or when the horse sweats.

This product may be applied either as a spray or as a wipe. For horse's face, always apply as a wipe using a piece of clean, absorbent cloth, toweling (Turkish) or sponge. Wear rubber glove or mitt when applying as a wipe. Spray or wipe horse's entire body while brushing against the lay of the coat to ensure adequate coverage. Avoid getting spray into horse's eyes, nose or mouth.

Application should be liberal for best results. Reapply every 5 to 7 days under normal conditions for initial applications. As protection builds, reapply every 10 to 14 days as needed. Also, reapply each time animal is washed or exposed to heavy rain.

    Excellent product

    By on

Like most long time horse owners, I have been "disappointed" by every fly spray I have ever used, in the sense that none of them live up to the advertised "promises". No this spray doesn't last 14 days. However, my horse has decent protection if I use every few days rather than every day. It IS waterproof, important since my horse goes in and out of his stall at will. And, it is competitively priced. I rated it 5 stars because I am more satisfied with this brand than with any other I have used, regardless of price. And Chewy's lighting shipping is always a plus!

My #1 choice , I have tested many!

    By on

#1 choice doesn’t get 5 stars, have not yet found a bug spray for horse that does get 5 stars. I Within last few years, I used different sprays on my horse. For at least two weeks I’d use one on half of horse and another on the other half of horse. Which ever side had less bites was then compared with a different product. This was the winner. I have however decreased how much is needed for my horse each season. Less chemicals is better for him, me and earth. I always give him access to his stall, so he can get away from the super large biting flies/bugs that don’t follow him in their much. This is better than any amount of spray. He has 24/7 access to paddock and stall. He chooses to be out #1 choice doesn’t get 5 stars, have not yet found a bug spray for horse that does get 5 stars. They get 5 stars for decreasing the pesky fly population, that love biting horse and human legs, to 1 % of what it was in past. I’d love a natural spray on product that was effective. Skidaddle for humans is one that even keeps green heads at bay. They were testing a horse version, but for me the cost was VERY prohibitive. … more

    Better than other flysprays

    By on

While it doesn't last 14 days, it does last more than one and that's good enough for me. My horse, who hated being sprayed when I first got him, will come over when he sees me pick up the spray bottle now as he associates relief from biting insects with it. The scent is pleasant enough, too.

Works great - just a little pricy for the size of the bottle

    By on Top 50 Contributor

It works really great on keeping the flies off my two horses and donkey. I like the sweat resistant as well. The bottle doesn't last long with three animals to use it on. Would had given a five star, but is pricy for the size of the spray bottle.

    Endure Horse Spray

    By on

I have been using this spray for years. It is the best spray in the market to keep flies away from the horses. It keeps other insects away too. Not so good for mosquitoes. It is worth it.

This is best fly spray we have used. Needs only minor touch-up and lasts for days! We have 5 horses and a donkey and this both works and saves us money (and time)!
